What I would LOVE is that the NPC's would be dressed from the STYLED LOOKS section! And that we could save our own looks. This has been on my mind for years and I haven't seen anyone else talk about it.

What i want seems so simple to me. I just want the option to lock makeup and accessories for all outfits like in previous games. I hate having to make a piercing or the nails the same across all outfits. Its so tedious. Same with the make up. Usually most outfits i use the same makeup

Also about elders: they could surely give us some specific traits just for elders, that they unlock during the game (like toddlers do) with smth like back pains or conspiracy theory believer. I feel like that would be so much more fun

I think I’d just like teen sims to be shorter than adults. Fix some major bugs and hire some programmers and people that can actually make functioning games. EA has compleatly trashed the sims franchise and I see no hope tho

The hobbies one makes SO MUCH SENSE I don't understand how in ten years they haven't done it. It's supposed to be a simulation of life.. and it's truly unbelievably short on hobbies.

this is probably too big for them considering what they're putting out right now but I want Get Together to have the option to put schedules for your clubs. Like if it's 9am, you're club will meet up in the library to read or something. I also want for the club scheduling feature to work even if your sim isn't in the club so public spaces would feel alive (as you see Chess club play in the park every 4pm for example)

The interesting thing about the basegame Athletic Career is that it has a daily task for going to a gym and helping out people there like a personal trainer. It would be neat if the basegame careers were refreshed to all have work from home options when your shift starts and you could do active career stuff (without being sent somewhere automatically like Get to Work) instead of a rabbit hole.

I agree on the Willow creek update! They could even continue to use creators to rebuild those houses. I see so many of them doing it anyhow. Then EA doesnt have to do anything but add them into the game! I agree with others who say instead of adding new stuff... fix the broken.

I would like to create my own outfits, which then wear randomly generated townies. you can decide for which age they are, or for occults. you can also set a dress code for festivels or in the mage realm - or not. as a free update, you can release a pack where you are a fashion designer. similar to animal crossing, you can paint clothes or put self-made photos on them. imagine a complete family, from infants to grandparents, all wearing a shirt with their pets for example

Yes, absolutely. I agree with everything you said! I feel like, rather than focusing on getting more products out, they really need to have massive updates of everything they already sold us. I mean, for example, being able to substitute the existing styled looks, or create our own, so that we could save new ones customized by us with accessories and clothes to use on any sim, would definitely be an improvement and I believe it wouldn't take much. Also, as you say, the Sims 4 team should really work on updating all of the worlds and families and consider fixing the stories, lore and dynamics to make it at least as attractive as the Sims 2 was. Entering a pre-made family and noticing that a message window pops up with juicy gossip is invaluable. Same with the Sims 2 Special Events Camera. I mean, there were just so many great features and details in the Sims 2 and 3 that just got lost in the Sims 4, which really lacks personality. If I were in charge of the Sims 4 team, I would definitely consider hiring new people or getting half of the staff to work hard on fixing everything we already bought and then have the other half, if they want, come up with new packs and kits, but always listening to our amazing community, which always comes up with the best ideas!!

Collecting items to make jewelry that you could possibly wear is actually brilliant, I love that. To go along with that, I would love just a real reason to collect anything. Have the frogs be pets that you can raise (and eat), have metals, crystals, and fossils be used for crafting items, be able to donate fossils for cash. I beg for them to be useful for *something*

Honestly I don’t want anything new until they fix what’s broken. There are so many packs that we’ve paid for that literally do not work. I think any of these cool ideas for new things that people are coming up with would be inevitably broken or lackluster, that’s how little faith I have in the sims 4 anymore 🙄 The only sort of exception to this, which I don’t really count as an exception, would be like you said of editing the base game worlds to catch them up with the updates we’ve had over the years. That would be awesome, but do I think they’ll actually do it? No, because why would they give us a bunch of updates and free content when they know they can churn out broken new packs because people will buy them 🙃

He jewelry maker idea sounds wonderful. I agree that there needs to be more uses for the collectibles aside from making a quick buck out of it. A craftsman career would be really cool. Making more uses out of the handiness or creative skill. Glassmaking, Jewelry, Pottery, or Wood carving. Or expand on the bug/frog collectibles. Like small animal sanctuary enclosures where sims can interact with the critters they collect. Feed it, nurture it, 8r bond with it aside from just selling it. They can include birds which they already have existing models for.

Hobbies would be fun, imagine a pottery table similar to woodworking where you could kiln and glaze pieces. Lovvve the jewelery idea especially if integrated with collectibles. I like game collectibles but felt TS4 was limited with how useful they are beyond having various gems around for mood buffs.

I love the map replacement mod, worlds look so much better.

A hobbie and bands pack would be a good idea. New skills maybe new jobs. I dont want a elder pack because that would mean more CAS and BB with little gameplay just for a specific age. The elder stuff should be part of large pack (it should have been on GT) but elder sutff as stand alone pack dont sound worth to me. I was thinking of an Elders pack too. It needs to happen. I'd also love a Family Tree creation and Graveyard...generational pack should have included that. It would be amazing if we could build a family tree in create a sim so our sims have a history before the game, and we have urns in our inventory lol. Even if it only goes to Great Grandparents.

What I would like most is a pack that adds more chores around the house; I know it sounds boring, but I miss that so much about the previous sims games. When the garden and bushes actually grew weeds/grass/got overgrown, so you actually needed to take care of it (or hire a gardener). The need to actively make the bed (or choose not to). The newspapers that could pile up if you didn't move them. Honestly, I love "bust the dust" and "laundry day" for adding at least some of that aspect.

WHAT Sims 4 really desperately needs is a Create A World Tool. The custom world that I use when I play Sims 3 has just over 200 lots and there is room to add more lots if I want to . Yes it does take about take about 4 minutes for about to load, but once it does that is it . There is no need to have to go through another loading screen every other time I cross the street to go shopping or visit a neighbor My second wish is to get rid of all the clowns that have been designing this lifeless game for the last 10 years. I played Sims 1 when it first came out and it was a wild and crazy experience. Sims 1,2 and 3. were fun to play . It is sad to see how this once incredible and very unique gaming experience has gone down the toilet.

This year is the ten year anniversary. It need to be big, much bigger than a hot tub… I think a new base game world would be awesome! But simply renovating the existing builds and families will not take long at alllll, simmers do it in like 1-3 hours I want a tattoo artist so bad but I really just feel like they won’t haha

I would LOVE an update to the base game worlds. I'd love for them to give us loads of community lots in New Cest too, we don't need sooo many empty lots. It takes no time to bulldoze a lot you don't want.

In terms of worlds, what I really want is a North African location, Tunisian, Moroccan, etc…. While I love Tartosa, I can’t really do much to make it feel like home. An Egyptian theme would have a different aesthetic to the Maghreb countries but would look good. A Gulf region destination or a Levantine world would also be wonderful. I would love a world where many of the NPCs would be walking around wearing Hijabs for integration. Tomarang could have been a good opportunity for Hijabi NPCs since Indonesia and Malaysia are Muslim majority countries anyways. Any of the options above could have a traditional crafts gameplay orientation to theme. Pottery, rug making, jewellery making, glass blowing etc. I can envision a pan SWANA world (Southwest Asia, North Africa) with three neighbourhoods. The 1st is a modern desert (think Dubai, or the new city Saudi is building) where the main craft is glass blowing for all the fancy buildings. The 2nd part is a Lebanese mountain village-esque place for rug making. And the 3rd neighbourhood is a historic Tunisian district for pottery. Would love more food as well such as Couscous, Makloubeh, Molokhiya, Majbus, etc…. There’s so much to do. A trait for hijabi women around their appearance in hijab would be crucial to add. Same with not eating pork and not drinking. Also more clothes that would work for conservative folks, or at least full bodysuits that can under clothes to cover skin for those who like to play that. These traits/lifestyles need to be added to Main game. I’d love to have my characters navigate queerness in such a world, much like many of us Queer SWANA people do. I just feel that our region and people are quite ignored and that needs to be fixed. Also on an unrelated note, I’d love to mix and match hearing aids with piercings. And to be able to flip on which side the accessories appear (face, wrists, and fingers). Oh and a favourite meals section in preferences would be welcome too for realistic non-western households play.

I miss the hobbies so much!! And it could be a career (teach dance, pottery, tinkering, etc) they already do it with being a Mindfulness Teacher at a spa. They could use the Maker Space from Eco Living (does require that pack) or even a park where you can set up a “teaching space” and do that. Dance could work in the fitness clubs, also. Yes, I have little hope, and I miss the fairies and the cool witches, and the Imaginary Friend!!

I would really like an expansion pack or game pack (idk which this would be considered as) that adds more life stages and more variation to the life stages there already are. For example it could make it so that teens, young adults, and adults aren’t basically the same thing with a different name, and a life stage for younger kids (around 5-7 years old) since the life stages skip from like 3 years old to 10 years old. I’d also like a tween/ preteen life stage. And more height variation. Idk if this would be too ambitious though and tbh if they did do it it would be ridiculously buggy and glitchy

And they could implement medieval furniture (which I feel a lot of people want) and add to the lore between the existing occults that came after the werewolves pack 😭

Eyelashes in base game would be a great idea as I play on console and get so jealous when I see pc players using them as they look so good (my parents won’t let me have a pc 😢)

The thing I want the most is a tween life stage. Yes, I know it's ambitious. I've wanted this since TS2. But it could work well 4 because tweens are very moody so their emotions could change really fast when in this life stage, get acne, and have their social need go down faster. Their clothes would be a mix of children and teens, and they would be a bit taller than children.

They should update the basegame with the updates as you said and hire people from the EA Creator Network. For the 10th anniversary they should add a new world template to the basegame, add more basic color swatches and they need to fix the world maps. Last but not least they should keep continuing to fix all the freakin bugs in basegame and all packs. I'm fine with that! 😆

To add to the Ikea stuff pack or kit idea, what if there was a option to buy the Ikea furniture in a furniture box for a cheaper price, however you would have to have your sims build the furniture themselves instead of just buying it. Building it could also increase handiness skill.

I want a throw back pack. Take a bunch of items from past sims games and make them function. Example of this would be the couch that you could water and it would grow fruit..

when we create an adult or elder sim, we should have the option to add hability points to them, I hate creating an elder sim that has no habilities whatsoever, is like they did not do shit in their youth. Also, maybe put them on a career level too I also want magnolia promenade to be updated, I know this one is hard to happen, but that city is SO small and boring (just like my dick), and after the inclusion of newcrest it became useless

Like not just quit their job, but for there to be an actual returement feature, where people celebrate and maybe you get social security type payment every day/week to replace their income. I genuinely thought it was a feature in the game and was confused when I couldn't find it

What I wish for The Sims 4 is for the team to take a full year off from making new packs and focus on fixing bugs, base game updates, and get back to pack refreshes. It doesn’t have to be extravagant, I’d be okay with them refreshing dine out by just making it playable, and adding content for toddlers/infants like dining high chairs, which would require them to fix how broken the high chairs are. But this won’t ever happen because that doesn’t make them any money 🙃

My wishlist: Babysitting job at a childcare center (interactive) or have a babysitting job at home where the babies/infants/toddlers are dropped off at your home to take care of them. Tween lifestage with interactive middleschool and adolescent lifestage where you can go to University. You can build a career and get some money at young adult stage. And start a family at adult stage. A elderly and retirement pack. With retirement homes, canes, elderly walk, wheelchairs, ect. A Funeral pack. With the career of undertaker, where you can plan everyones funerals. The CEO of the undertaker company is the grimreaper :).

There are so many ideas just involving bands. An expansion based on that alone would be killer. If they could be bothered. Edit: famous NPC bands. More than one and with different genres of music.

i'd love a dancing pack! imagine making a full dance team and assigning them routines to do and having a uniform. and competitions could be so fun too with the wild makeup and costumes!! it could work like the acting career maybe with the going behind the stage and getting hair and makeup done. i would love for kids to go to ballet or hip-hop classes and imagine making dance moms in the sims without laggy mods. (or recreating honey or step up) i have made a dance team before for teens and i just used the get together club system and the dance floor to make them meet at the gym and just do some random routine over and over LMAO

A small update I'd like is to make it so you can customize skill levels and houshold wealth from the character creation menu, as in, without cheats. Look, I'm an adult. If I want to not use it to challenge myself, I can restrain myself. But if I'm creating an adult or elder for roleplaying purposes, I don't want to *have* to start the game with them having the skills of a newborn. I think it's silly that I have to grind or cheat a retiree's writing skill up when I just wanted to create a retired author. Slightly more ambituous is that I think the jump between adult and elder is too big. I think there should be a life-stage in between. (Also, the difference between teens and young adults is too small, but I digress.)

Maybe we could start with something super simple like a doorbell, perhaps? I’m tired of finding random sims on my doorstep. And after that let’s do something fun with the calendar. In the real world, if a “friend” called me up and asked pester me to immediately jump out of whatever task I’m in to hang out with them….. we would no longer be friends. Let’s add a scheduling feature FFS.

I would love for vendors to spawn when ever you use a market stall food stall. So that you can make multi purpose lots.

I’d also love if they could remove the medical wearables from accessories so that they don’t randomly get added to outfits. Why would my sim suddenly wearing a hearing aid with their formal outfit!?!

Much as I agree with your ideas for packs and kits, I would be content for them to fix the game...refreshes, pack cross compatibility where it doesn't exist, etc. (And yes, an elder update.) But while you can engender fan loyalty with that, you can't monitize it; and we know how EA loves to monetize. My predictions for 2024: more broken packs with empty, lifeless worlds and some useless kits no one wants. And as someone who has been playing since S1, as an adult (even my kid isn't Gen Z), my prediction makes me sad.

Another hilarious pack could be the "Absolutely Fabulous " pack where we could live out our Edina Monsoon and Pasty Stone fantasy lives😂. We could use the "Basemental Drugs" mod with it (if you play on pc) plus a fashion career game pack plus a plastic surgery kit. I know it would never happen, but I love the idea!

You should make a video on how kits haven't had any hairstyles they could do hairstyle kits or at least 1 or 2 in cas kits but they've never ever put hairstyles in kits!
