You can actually unlock the aspiration when you cook a group serving as well. When I first heard about this a few months ago, I tested it out. For me this really does fall into that Sims humor that the Sims 4 is usually lacking.

I was once told I was "way too into grilled cheese." Because it's one of my safe foods (atypical) and I eat it several times a week every week and when traveling sometimes it's all I eat as cereal and pbj vary internationally, but cheese and bread and heat does not. Anyway I'm gonna send them this and show I was no where near as grilled cheese centric as I could've been. I didn't even talk to three sims, er, people about it!

Not to make your safe food feel unsafe but just to make sure you don't get caught off-guard some day. Grilled cheese can vary WILDLY based on the type of bread, type of cheese, what it's fried in, and some people/places even try to put extra stuff in like spices, sauces, or onions and garlic

@@shigeminotoge4514 yeah I'm fortunate even smoky cheeses fall under the category my taste buds find neutral to almost good lol even in rural parts of Netherlands and England I was all set and would package a few up just in case. They technically had peanut butter and jelly, but it was gonna average out to like $7 a sandwich, when I'm used to maybe 50 cents if that once averaged lol even uncrustables (luxury) are less than $2 each I appreciate your heads up though and bleu/moldy cheeses 100% override my safe food lmao

@@Pixieroses I'm autistic. Sometimes food loses all taste and my throat closes up. Even with foods I enjoy otherwise. When that happens I can only eat cereals I'm used to, PBJ, and grilled cheese. It's not permanent but it's very comforting to know I have a fall back food, if it occurs, which then also makes it occur less often. so I have them on me or know how to acquire nearby. So I feel *safe* aka safe food.

You don't have to eat 10 different grilled cheese sandwiches - just take a bite and cancel then eat again and repeat. ! sandwich will actually count as 3 and you can knock that one out pretty easily

Thanks I also appreciate the humor game play and glad you talked about it. The sims used to be more of a silly experience when you focus too much on being realistic you lose the fun. The sims 4 is less fun because it has less of the humor from other games.

The grilled cheese aspiration is still broken and has been for almost a year and it used to put the grilled cheese in your hand but now it just puts it in the inventory in buy and build mode 😮‍💨

Actually, you don't have to make grilled cheese one serving at a time. You can make a big serving for 8 and eat from that 3 times and the aspiration will be unlocked after that. That's how I did it.

The old humour and chaos in the sims is gone and sims 4... Like the random, acts are gone.The whole like burglary and things like that.I miss it..... I also think that Sims are not as evil as they were in previous generations.I used to love playing with Sims.That would just destroy the world not all the time but you can't play every single game as like the perfect little family😁😤🤣

At some point between launch and now, either due to a bug or a change in the feature, summoned grilled cheese now go into the household inventory because that makes a whole lot of sense. :U

In the swedish version you can cook a big serving and eat 3. You also dont need to put in testingcheats before doing some cheats. Try if its the same for you❤

Honey, you gave poor Shanice the worse oven in the game then was surprised when it did what it's programmed to do, burst into flames. That oven has no other function. But seriously good fun with the grilled cheese aspiration. Haven't done this one but have done the Sims 2. You have to do the Sims 2 grilled cheese 😂😂

Pretty darned SAD when NOT only is the grilled cheese aspiration part is broke which is bad enough, but the reporter now too?? Jeez! Ea come on guys please FIX the sims 4. Or at leaste its packs and updates so stuff works rite again. That asperation is also one of my favorites but but can't even hardly play it anymore. Just SAD and rediculous now. Ty for posting this video though and leaste TRYING to show us how it works. 👍✌Lol. Darned EA/ Sims team. This game is only going to get WORSE if nothinh gets done about by EA/or the sims team. 👎

You don't need to make three individual servings of grilled cheese. You can make one family size portion. It's about eating them, not how you cook them.

I think it doesn't have to be single servings of grilled cheese to activate the aspiration. You just have to eat 3 grilled cheese consecutively and yes unfortunately it seems that even with the melt master trait you can't summon grilled cheese. i hope they fix it soon QAQ

The last time I summoned Grilled Cheese was with the High School update. Then the grilled cheese plate was in the sim's inventory and I could eat anywhere. Who doesn't want fresh grilled cheese? I heard that during the update of My First Crystal Stuff there was a bug with the sim's inventory. It was fixed, but apparently not completely...Very disappointing. There aren't actually many pictures of Grilled Cheese in the game. I like creating a plate of food out of thin air. My sims were always full. Moreover, toddlers can also eat Grilled Cheese, which makes life easier)) The tasks are fun, but the reward isn't great. I eat Grilled Cheese at the Forgotten Grotto bc I fished there. Or in Sylvan Glade...or in Selvadorada...Now I can’t do that either bc the plate will end up in the family’s inventory and I don’t have access to it. Of course, you can find other food options. But then the meaning of lifetime aspiration is lost with this bug. I have everything, thank you)))

Abt unlocking the aspiration ; it’s rlly not that specific like he explained, it’s supposed to happen randomly in game if u just make grilled cheese cuz ur too lazy to learn new recipes. So eating the left over grilled cheese all day and then u get surprised by getting the aspiration. Also u can make group meals and eat them over n over, that’s how I’ve always done it!!!

If you don’t want celebs turning up all the time you can make it so sims start with no fame level and npcs don’t bother to build fame so they won’t exist to turn up everywhere
