Satch please don't stop complaining and talking about these broken packs. You're speaking up for the those of us in the community who are tired of EA getting away with this, and I'm sick of other creators singing praises about the pack because it's a good 'build pack'. It’s interesting that you’re the only person telling the truth about all of these packs. I’m watching someone else’s for rent gameplay and everything is “so cute” although this LP’er had to add a lot of mods and even had to create a tiger sanctuary out of dogs and pretend they were tigers.. but it was “so cute”.

I only discovered you about 2 weeks ago and watched a multitude of videos in this time span and I LOVE you shouting out all the problems out loud. Like the other simmers experience them and just .. gloss over them? They will even say "oh well, typical sims 4 ahah!" Like??? Miss you can't play the damn pack??? They won't pay you rent, you can't pay rent because it bugs out to billions, the aspirations don't work, the interactions don't work the literal ONLY thing that works is moving into an apartment, not even building them because of the wallpaper lag 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃

Hey Satch! I don't know if you've been told already but I found that in order to blackmail a Sim first you must confront him about a secret, it's under friendly/gossip interaction. Hope this helps. Also I've been thinking a lot about the issue you've mentioned with sims4 worlds being empty and shallow and I wandered if there are mods that ads more things to do outside, photography and birdwatching would probably suit the new world best what you think?

When the faulty explosion thing comes up or whatever it's called comes up when another unit is having issues and if you're the landlord that means a tenant is having issues with their stuff, not you. If you're just a tenant then it probably just means it's another tenant in the building and it's not something for you to worry about, you just can't leave while the "event" is going on. At least that's been my experience with the pack. Also, it's not a good idea to ask for a refund from EA because they don't care that their pack is faulty, they'll simply ban you for asking for one. It's a sad fact but I've seen someone get double charged for something by EA. This person got banned after bringing it to their attention and requesting she get refunded for it and after MONTHS of trying to get her account back she finally got it. Would not recommend asking for a refund. We can only hope that EA will (and I use this sentence VERY lightly) look into the issues with the pack and fix it. This pack was play tested in early access and they knew about all the issues and have yet to do anything about it.

15:02 there’s a better pie menu mod, it lets you type while the menu is open to search for specific interactions, it’s one of those mods that you just kind of need, like UI cheats and mccommandcenter

Because a few years ago I had a dream that an alien was trying to drag me off of the edge of my bed by my ankles and the next morning I woke up with a sprained foot. Satch, "-1" value for only positive value essentially means infinity. Think of an old glitch in Civilazation series: Nuke-happy Ghandi. Nuke-happy Ghandi was essentially a result of a oversight, where developers coded him to to have minimal level of aggresion so after taking (I believe) Democracy policy, his aggresion value was lowered to below zero, which since it wasn't implemented as actual possible value, was read by the game as: "It's Ghandi Nukin' Time!" So yeah, bealways wary if game gives you negative values, when it's not supposed to.

one thing i hate about the sims 4 is the empty worlds. for example, island living there are barely any sims waling around in that world. so when i put a new restaurant, there arent many people coming there. just sucks, makes the game feel empty.

It's good to still has someone who has corrage to saying it's all bullshit what the sims team doing. And so sad, the pretesters would not. They probably known about those bugs, but they had "forgotten" to talk about it. The sims team had showed again how much this game is inportant to them, the players had reported several bugs and instead they fixing the mess they have caused, annonced a sims 4 live action film!! I think it's worth a video...

Thank you for your honesty, and while I know some of the aspiration milestones not completing are valid, I'm not sure what happened to cause that kind of rent payment due, nor a bunch of the other glitches. That's so odd. I wonder if it has something to do with being a tenant while owning a property glitch? I agree that a lot of the packs are massively broken lately, which is why if I do buy anything it's only going to be build kits I want, Werewolves and maybe the Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack. Nothing else has really interested me for a while now.

I've been playing for two days in real time and nothing as broken,been paid,or anything mentioned with the rental gameplay. 😢I want things to break and tenants to complain with their signs but no nothing.to top it off no matter what sim I play as, they refuse to use the new toilet!! I literally only had the toilet placed in the room and they all said they couldn't get to it, but can walk right up to it 🙄😒

i found that with woohoo & try for baby now for some reason there is a gap between try for baby option & them actually going to woohoo usually in my game they agree then i make them do another romantic interaction then they go woohoo. i have no idea if this is a bug or a "feature" they added to make it more realistic ? i mean irl you'd probably kiss or something instead of just getting into it idk tho

Satch, Is this your first abduction? I've only had it happen once, to one of my Sims who was in the astronaut career. But it has been around as an anomaly for a long time.

I just thought you can basically do For Rent without the expansion pack, for example if you are in a shared building you can just lock doors for everyone but said sim and it would still give you the same game play.. obviously they’d have to be in the same family but that would be the only difference for the sake of a £30 pack

If you have MC command center, you can change preexisting sims in CAS

Supposedly they fix the rent but they talk about premade buildings in specific lots and i think that's happening no matter the lot.

I have a sim that got abducted twice in 4Rent, but granted, he's in the Scientist career. No alien baby (yet), nor do I really have room for one more sim since the household lives in an apartment.

i was playing sims yesterday and my sim needed to pee, but every time he went to pee, the bladder thing wouldn't fill up and now he's peeing himself all the time😔

gotto do my moning routine, and your videos are part of it 😁 after watching this video, i just want to say; this indeed is horrendous. the bug that makes you pay trillions of simoleons is nearly making it impossible to play a major aspect of the game...i wonder what happens if you dont pay it. will a repo man come and take all you stuff or will he just ignore it because its impossible to collect that much money of you XD one bug breaks another feature XD the game is supposed to be fun, not stressfull.
