My father would often say, "Keep the lines of communication open, always!" This video reminds me to do just that, for we have allowed ourselves to forget.

Fabulous! I too wish the ancestors could speak. Perhaps they do but we cannot as yet hear their voices.

I am enjoying watching these 'mythical Ireland' videos as I plan to come to Ireland to trace my ancestors in County Clare. I will definitely visit Newgrange and other ancient sites. Very inspiring, thank you. Lorese Vera, Canberra, Australia.

Alone too on a late Summer evening, barefoot and silent presence. They are here in the earth and the air. One of our treasures, thank you.

Why, with such an oral lore tradition, has this information been lost? Is it possible the builders and their kin were wiped out? St Patrick himself would have done his best to delete these cairns from our memory but the Irish language survived through hedge schools and shear will power. Pagans exist here too. Amnesia can be brought on by anxiety or stress due to unthinkable natural disasters. We lost all large animals here due to a cataclysmic event around 11700 years ago (same time as crater in greenland appeared. Irish elk and brown bears disappeared. They hardly went hungry. Like the videos. I hope at least every effort is made to confirm the dates of these cairns. It bothers me that throughout the world everything made made is 5500 years old. Gobekli Tepe is 12000 years old. Sphinx is now deemed to be 10000 ++. Professor schmitt puts forward a strong argument based on precipitation and the fact it hasn't rained there in 5000 years. Just saying!
