Out of every single osu! player, no other player has reached skill ceiling quite as high as aetrna. Despite speed one of the most difficult skills to learn and maintain, aetrna managed to redefine what was possible in the realm of speed. We feared what he was capable of, and on numerous occasions, the entire osu community was at his mercy. He ascended to a level so high above everyone else, he set scores that only he can possibly replicate. The unthinkable was always in the realm of possibility for him, and with his insane pick in 2020, we were ready to see him tear this game down to shreds. Unfortunately, for a period several months in both 2021 and 2022, aetrna hit several periods of inactivity. All hope seemed lost, but something strange was happening. Despite his inactivity, he still kept his ludicrous speed. On the off chance he did decide to log in, he kept on setting speed plays with little to no effort. All we needed was one final push to get him to start playing actively again, and with the rise of the Wooting keyboard, Merami finally had his infinity gauntlet. And now it was time for us to gamble it all on an Ascension to Heaven +HDDTHR FC, just like old times.
