Remember what I said in your other post. Vacuum your sand bed, it’s collecting phosphate. It will help tremendously. 👍🏻

Phos rx mimics calcium and coral skeleton absorbs it aswell so you don’t know what levels of calcium you have this shit played havoc with my apex kalk stopped being dosed and I had to dose alk separately in dos I wouldn’t recommend using this product

@@TOMReefer I also use Phosguard, it’s good stuff, can’t be doing with that GFO it’s too messy. I never disturb my sandbed as I leave to the cuc, loads of good bacteria in there, bit of a trade off really. 👍

Hi Disher, I use Hannah checker for phosphate and alkalinity. They’re very good. I use Salifert for nitrate and calcium. They are very good. Those are my go to tests 👍🏻😊

Hi Jim, in my experience and through other advanced reefers, the dust is not harmful. There is no need to rinse. Just a few seconds under low flow tap water is fine. 👍🏻

@@TOMReefer I agree Tom, I use all Hanna kits as I find them very good but and with no disrespect to you it was a bit blatant, I have been reefing for 35 years and in my day you only had an No3 etc but now companies make more money out of selling you things you don’t need, enjoy your stuff though.

@@TOMReefer No issues here, I just never looked up how these tests work. There is a lot of great reviews on them and lots of people recommend them, just never realized there was that many steps to testing your water with them. I’m sure they are much more accurate then the api tests that I use but it’s also pretty quick and easy. Nice tank!!

Hannah checker is quite accurate. It’s pricy, but it’s a good idea to have an accurate test when it comes to phosphate. API are just not accurate enough. 👍🏻
