got this on FB a year ago. haven't ran it up til now. it's got a beta II head in it as well. runs good. this one has the metal diffuser pin though. my other one like this does not. also test of my new phone tripod

I love those beta II design by Nelson and this one moves even quicker than the ones I have and have seen in the past. It also follows the PJ design properly with the splash going out to the front like it is supposed to do. I had seen some of these in popups many years ago, just never was able to put my hands on one that was not in a system. It looks like your pressure may be a little more than mine, and it does a great job. I notice the torque it puts on your tall stand. Thank you for sharing it.

These truly are good popups compared to what they sell now. Id rather have this or a Buckner brass popup in my yard than anything new sold today.

@@NelsonBigGunP200Fan In general I like the Rain Bird design P5-2045 design, but I am seeing there are issues where they stop working over a period of time and the trip will not trip. So they too have an issue. I am not a fan of popups, because they are too hard to work on and too finicky.

Seems like my grandmothers neighbors had these heads more than the red and green nozzle variations.The Black nozzles are called the 6704 heads were as the red are the 6703 heads and the green nozzles are the 6702 heads.These also came in brass alpha 2 pop up heads as well.Never seen a video of the brass alpha 2 pop up heads before.

I have seen those too. However I only have a rise N rain that has the alpha II head inside. Not the green case Nelson with the PJ brass head inside
