Regarding the mobile app, Looks like you were looking for a slave device instead of the master device. Might explain why you were seeing BP9-16 instead of 1-8 and why it wasn’t responsive.

Interesting, thank you! MOMA = same branding inside Solidcom's networking web browser. Makes more sense with the Chinese wiring for TRRS.

Have you updated to the new firmware? I'd like to know how the mic gain adjustment works and if there's other improvements. Still hoping that someone somewhere will do a latency measurement too! :-)

Hi David, great video again. You mention more beltpacks in groups of 8? If a group can be set to listen only, can you bring in an audio line for IFB? Or if you want the camera op to hear both director, and a program or talent feed listening to 2 groups, any control on volume to have the director louder than talent? Can you actually listen to 2 groups at the same time, or only one at a time? Thanks, Ben

Hi Ben, each belt pack (as well as the 4w) can be set to either listen-only, or listen&talk for each of the three groups A, B, C. So for instance, you could set beltpack 7 to listen only to group A, listen and talk to group B, and be switched off of group C entirely. You can bring program audio in via the 4wire, but you need to build a custom cable (pin diagram on the back of the unit). That’s one of my main gripes about the unit- being able to get program audio in more easily would have been so neat. And the TRRS on the beltpack is backwards. But, these things can be worked around. There’s only one volume control on the beltpacks, so the program volume level would have to be adjusted before being inserted via 4w. I haven’t tested pairing a second base station, but expect that you’d be adding packs 9-16 + the 2w and 4w. These additional units are not a “new group”, but rather would be appended to the original groups A, B, or C. Does that make sense?

Yes, it has a 2 wire and 4 wire interface so you can connect to other systems. Search the manual and you’ll find a wiring diagram

You and others are saying the TRRS connector on the beltpack is "backwards". The manual shows it as Sleeve: Mic, R2: Ground, R1: Right, Tip: Left. That's the same as the iPhone standard. Is it not wired as per the manual?

That was my experience in testing the actual unit with iPhone headphones.
