Nice tractor Mike! Big cams are great engines as long as the fuel pressure isn't cranked to the moon, otherwise the camshaft will flake. The N14 addressed this by adding electronic fuel injectors and a higher pressure fuel system not driven by the cam. We love ours!

We had a 9270 and a 9380 on our farm when I was growing up and they were the most reliable tractors out there. Never had any issues with them and always performed above expectations. Definitely miss those tractors! Good to see you finally getting some red on your farm ;-)

I had two 9380s that were identical to that. Manual trans, calcium in the tiger wheels , great trouble free workhorse. Plug it in and it will start in the winter,that’s why it had a blade!!

That brings back some memories.. spent a lot of hours in a 9682 new Holland. Basically same tractor just different color. Traded it off on a 500 row trac. Quite the upgrade. Lol

9380 good tractors. We one purchased in 1998 . Very little problems. Only one problem we had was water pump belts. Inspect yours and make sure you temperature gauge and warning lite works. My neighbor had one his water pump belt blew apart his temp gauge was not working and had to spend $28K to rebuild the engine.

Hey Mike, heavy hauler here.. use the hooks to hook into the D ring. The way you run chain thru ring then to boomer isn’t needed. And that chain won’t be as tight along the whole boomer.

Great tractor , but be careful . if you use the steering colume mounted J.D unit it will work great , but its heavy and will break parts in the tilt wheel assembly , the parts to repair and or beef up are becoming almost impossible to find , i had to do 2 last year and i didnt think i was going to get them done LOL other wise great find

the 9380 has the newer hinge in the middle, a lot better than the 9280 and earlier, the 9380 also came with diff looks. 385hp was the factory HP for that with the 855 when it got the n14 it went to 400hp , 375 for the 9280. the titan rims were a better option than the tie bolt that came before. that's the quad box transmission, 24 gears . it has a hi/low in each gear .

I spent quite a few hours in a 9380. It was a great tractor.

The Sound of the 9380 reminded me of our Maxxum 5150. Those Cummins always start not matter what the weather. All you need is a Full Batterie.

Those were GREAT TRACTORS. I had that transmission but traded for PowerShift. No grinding.

The wheels look right to me for a 93-series, but ours were all triple-tired (a green Lion 1000, two 9280's, and a 9390.) I remember weekly tire pressure adjustments 20 years ago on the 9280 that was on those goofy mid-'90's Goodyears with the 4-bar tread. Ours were all the powershift but I can see how the manual could be fine for pulling the roller.

I had a 9350 and now have a 9370 Quad Track, they were the best tractor ever built, its too bad they didn't make them bigger cause it would be so easy to rebuild and they are very reliable compared to the tractors today...

Man when I saw the video cover I thought that was a new tractor, but I saw after it has manual gearshift instead cvt but the money is yours and you know what you does with it but in every video that I saw you showed technological tractors but this is awesome aswell . Nice tractor, they are reliable To bad it doesn't have power shift. Our 9350 and 9380 did Both of our 4 wheelers had the newer bud duals. That trailer made me so nevous. I'm used to a detach trailer.

You had a red case tractor when i first started watching this channel, it had tracks and the front nose pointing to the ground, yep i am not a farmer to give numbers and series, the nose points to the ground is my reference :)

We had the first 9370 quadtrac in canada on our farm. Did 9000 hours on it.

That would be very cool if you still had that green Stieger.

I had a 9380 quad, nice machine. I did a “fuel button” swap that gave it a nice boost in power. I also put a cab suspension kit on it from Ag Cab solutions, made a world of difference in ride quality.

12 minutes in describing the purchase of the new addition and NO MENTION about Coffee Cup Holders. Possibly someone's priority has changed because the abundance of snow has chilled the mind 🤣🍮🍮😂

Awesome Tractor, closer to 31- or 32,000 lbs on the weight I believe. Any older CaseIH with a Cummins Engine in the Steiger or Magnum are excellent buys when you run across one, they will run forever. A year or two with wiring issues but once sorted even those are excellent. One option was a Synchromatic trans 3 gears in 4 ranges(A-D Ranges) excellent buy even at a premium price in my opinion.

We have a 9270 by far my favourite tractor on the farm

Mike, go on line and get your self some peppermint oil and spray it in those bins and through the slots on the shifters. Mice do not like peppermint! But some under the seat of your pickup also.

Thought for sure it was going to be a big bud announcement.
