Not usually a fan of these 3rd party dress-ups.....but, in this case, it really does look transformative. Good find Mike, it gives the Stage a lot more presence and character.

I think I like it more than B&O's version with oak on the outside and no alu... At least now I still have the alu edge and gorgeous walnut on the inside, first thing my GF said walking in to the room was ''wow, that's beautiful!'' so right there I knew it was a good choice :D

@Steve & Mikipedia, the tweeter on one of my 8000s just packed up.. I’m going down to Simon @ AVA Services tomorrow to get it replaced. Was looking at the matt black wood covers to replace my black frets which are a little worn...

You can write them, I am sure they'll do it for you. They have black bl8000's and bl7's on their website so matt black shouldn't be an issue, they basically offer all the choices and I had a hard time deciding, took me 3-4 days to finalise my decision lol

Lovely cover and transformative especially when replacing the standard cover. I think it's worth getting the grille but the Beosound Stage Gold Tone looks awesome even without one.

Looks like you’ve got a couple of single female admirers Michael! Lol. The walnut looks great, but you now need to replace the black cabinet under the Stage with a walnut unit and source a walnut bed.. ask Willie, he’s the wood connoisseur 😁 I actually have a walnut cabinet under my B8 65 and BS35 (soon to be Stage) in my cigar room... I will consider replacing the black Stage fret with that walnut once it’s installed. Another great video, thank you 👍🏻

The cats are both male, their interest is in the products around the house and not me so much lol. This is only my first Walnut piece and so far I am loving it, i actually think it looks good with the black cabinets too (I am also afraid to change them as it's part of the cats ''parkour'' course lol). I'll take some more pics and put them up in the usual places so you can see even better what this beauty looks like :D

One thing I will say is this sound bar is not peaky. It’s smooth and is not fatiguing.

Yes, there isn't a subwoofer at all. You can't even connect one :p

Not to the effect that I can tell the difference no, so if there is any I can't hear the difference. If anything it sounds a bit more airy to me :p

Not that I've been able to perceive in the slightest. If anything it sounds a bit more open because there is no cloth in front of the speakers.

i dont understand why you pay very expensive cover while not take the oak version? En leuke soundbar man ik ben ook van plan een te kopen. Heb ook silvere beosoundbar gevonden op marktplaats voor 950,- Die soundbar ''sub''woofer gebruikt de zelfde techiek van de jbl boomboxen

You can put them in the wall if you like, just like for any other soundbar. I didn't mind enough to go that far :p

@@Mikipedia such a beautiful speaker. Did you ever had any connectivity problems with wifi?>. I tested in shop and had a couple of blips (dead air bits) but to fair not enough for me to blame the speaker

@@hypnotechno No, never. It's been totally fine from the start, I've had more issues with the LG tv above it. I had one network dropout with it and that is all I ever had with this package :p Maybe I am super lucky but I doubt it, they all seem pretty solid!

8:20 certification body: a physical product spec label is mandatory on your product. B&O: but i don't want any ugly label on my product. certification body: you can place it at the back. B&O: no way. Product released. certification body: why the label is no longer there? B&O: it's the customers who'd decided to cover it up, it has nothing to do with us.

I hope the hair won’t go into the drivers/tweeters through the more airy grill. The execution is indeed great, I’d definitely choose this over the textile. But my god the packaging is horrid! Totally unworthy of the name Prestige Creators. They’ve got to come up with a nicer packaging. Of course the cover itself is beautiful, good choice!

Well it did make it across the pond in one piece, not something you can always say for B&O's packaging. Just ask Willie lol. Rather safe than sorry, especially for a smaller company like theirs.
