"NEW BIG ENGINE" that change the Aviation industry FOREVER Shocked Everyone!
----
Over the past decade, two giants in the aviation industry, Boeing and Airbus, have continuously upgraded their aircraft. The two single-aisle narrow-body aircraft lines Boeing seven three seven and Airbus A three 20 have been equipped with new engines, impressively these new ones bring a strong increase in performance compared to previous versions. However, the CFM Rise engine that appears will be significantly superior in performance. airbus a380. Are you all surprised to hear that the foundation laid for CFM Rise has been decades in the making? The aviation industry of 30 years ago almost had this type of engine. NEW BIG ENGINE That Change The Aviation Industry FOREVER Shock Everyone!

Why this new big engine will change the aviation industry forever? And how close are past engines to the CFM Rise? What performance does this CFM engine provide? Let’s find out in today’s episode!
In 1941, the US government asked GE Aerospace to develop America's first jet engine. Looking back at the process, we can realize that the jet engine of the plane is constantly increasing in diameter, simply so that it can generate more terrible power. airbus a380
, That means it has to push the air backward faster. So as said engines have gotten bigger over time because that has helped increase the bypass ratio of the engine, a number describing the proportion of cold air volume driven rearward by the engine’s fan to the volume of hot gases coming from the compressor-turbine core.

Essentially, a bigger fan can push more air around or bypass the engine core. However, a problem with that is that these engines are getting heavier, simply because they are bigger. airbus a380
But there are still ways to add more air mass to the rear without necessarily increasing the size of the engine significantly. That is the Propfan, also known as the unducted fan or open rotor. The Open rotor that appeared at the 1985 Paris Air Show was an egg-shaped engine nacelle, mounted at its smaller end, two rows of sword-like rotors 12 feet in diameter. It can be seen that they operate like turbofan engines except that the fan is not enclosed in a nacelle. These early propfan engines had two counter-rotating fan discs that could change the angle of rotation. Different from the propellers on turbofan engines we have today and that increases their efficiency even more. NEW BIG ENGINE That Change The Aviation Industry FOREVER Shock Everyone! airbus a380
At that time, Pratt and Whitney and General Electric were studying these designs. Their two designs were Allison five seven eight Delta X-ray and G36. The Pratt and Whitney Allison variant builds on previous research Allison had done on propfan design for nasa. General Electric, no exception, also based its design on nasa research and had the French engine manufacturer, Snecma, as a minority partner in the project. And don't forget to mention that General Electric and Snecma are also partners in the CFM 56 joint venture.
So why do these companies plan to develop this propfan engine? Because one of them will be chosen to power the aircraft that is expected to replace Boeing for the seven two seven, the Boeing 7J7. NEW BIG ENGINE That Change The Aviation Industry FOREVER Shock Everyone!
Of course, we know that this did not happen. The seven three seven Next Gen is Boeing's choice to replace the seven two seven and directly compete with the Airbus A three 20 series. By the time it was phased out, development on the 7J7 had progressed quite far as evidenced by the fact that they were discussing it with several different airlines that wanted to replace the seven two seven, DC-9, and even their previous seven three seven. The 7J7 is considered a game changer in aviation with its innovative open-fan engine design and counter-rotating propellers. The plane promised unprecedented speed, range, and fuel efficiency - far exceeding any other popular aircraft of its time. Sadly, this revolutionary idea is still only on paper. So what happened to this plane that caused it to be eliminated mercilessly?

A.I. created video. Stilted narration, ("uh-320" instead of A-320), artificial feeling narration that is grammatically strained and awkward. No human narration or writer. This fake video trend is going to end KZfaq if they don't control and label these videos.

Climate change is causing problems with aircraft engines. That bad or that stupid? Lost respect for this shite. 😂

0:53 The Type I-A was derived from the British Power Jets W.I.X., designed by Frank Whittle. In 1941 Chief of the Air Corps Gen. H. H. Arnold negotiated with the British government for the transfer of a set of drawings and one Power Jets W.I.X. turbojet engine. Arnold selected General Electric to build experimental engines to Whittle's design, due to GE's experience with turbosuperchargers.

Except for using an A380 as a test mule for one of the A320/737 engines, what is the "NEW BIG ENGINE" blah blah blah "forever shocked EVERYONE"? The concept was first on a 727 and DC9. 40 years ago.
