If the limo was going 60 mph and stopped immediately when it hit the ditch then the people in the car would experience a force similar to falling down a 14 story tall building. No one can survive that even if you land on top of someone.
@shawnee18955 жыл бұрын
Hi, I am curious. How did you get your analogy of "14 story building?" Is this based on math of crash stats? Thank you. I am curious as to what type of force they experienced. The limo maybe weighed 3-4 tons and the Highlander about 2 tons, plus the mound/ditch that did not give. thank you.
@khaleswing5 жыл бұрын
shawnee1895 I did a quick calculation in my head. As I pull out my calculator the numbers changed a little. It turned out 60 mph is the same as speed when you hit the ground after falling 120 feet (12 stories). The weight of the vehicle is not important here because it didn’t hit the passengers, it is the sudden stop of the vehicle that killed the passengers. investigators found that the driver didn’t hit the brakes so the car was probably going a little slower than 60 mph after hitting the parked car but not much. It would have been better if it hit the parked car head on because the highlander would yield unlike the ditch.

The U.S. is not going to discuss extradition with the country he is in, just to have a conversation with him. They only do that when they know fully well they are arresting the person.

If you knew anything about limo licensing, you would know how stupid your comment is. I knew the driver, he was a truck driver for years, and had been driving with them for quite some time. Go to the DMV and tell them you want an 'E Class License, and watch what happens.... they take your money and thats it. There is no test. His license lapsed, that doesnt make him a shitty driver, just a little irreaponsible. But it is his fault for operating the thing if he felt it waas unsafe. When I worked for them I refused to drive a TownCar one day that had metal sticking out of the tires... no other driver even noticed it. People forget that cars are pieces of heavy machinery because any and every 2-eyed moron has one. If it were up to me, most people wouldnt have a license because they dont know how to properly maintain or operate their piece of heavy machinery. Some dumbass gave them a license then told them it was a priviledge Hahaha

Two things causes this. 1. The Limo was not properly inspected. clearly they did not check the brake pad or rotors. the most vital part of car are its brakes!!! from personal experience trust me. 2. Also on top of a poor trained driver. Who probably was not used to driving a fully load limo with 18 passengers on. Did not know what kind of momentum the limo would have when brakeing. Results from a sharp turn the limo was going down hill and probably blew its brakes if not driver panicked since brakes where not working with the momentum it had and probably let go of the brake trying to stear the limo. Bam hit people and trees
@shawnee18955 жыл бұрын
Yes, the NTSB said there were no skid marks, which makes you think that the brakes went out. and during NTSB interview, one reporter said brakes could have been working, but were equipped for regular SUV , not a limo. The wife said in another video that he drove a tractor trailer for 21 years without incident. He would have known something about stopping distance. Why there were no skid marks is my #1 suspect. He may have underestemated it since it feels like driving a car, causing them to fail or may have fallen asleep. The engine may have been so loud that sounds of impending brake failure or any other mechanical failure were drowned out. Plus, if my engine sounded like that and I had a group with me the music would have been turned up loud to compensate.

The company gave their condolences REALLY?? I hope the owner goes to jail this time for his crimes he knew that limo shouldn’t have moved from their business, since it failed inspection. But that grimy ass greedy owner didn’t care and wanted that money. Jail time is too good for him. Once a criminal always a criminal now put his ass in jail where it belongs. Just think if the FBI didn’t use him as an informant, then he would’ve been in jail and all 20 of these people would be alive now let everyone think about that one.

It is the customers' responsibility to get copies of business docs before hiring the limo.

I don’t understand why get in a limo or any car or truck that is soo loud it makes you deaf! You know something is wrong with it if it’s making that much noise I would have asked for another just for safety reasons

Not only this, but I'm sure the Brakes were NOT upgraded after stretching the Limo. That Limo should have had UPGRADED Brakes, AND should have had new Brakes Yearly, ONLY allowing NEW Parts, not rebuilt. Shahed is a Scammer, doesn't give a rip, and should be in jail for Murder.
