I wonder why Corlin is the former Vermillion gym leader, but Misty is the Cerulean gym leader? My theory: when Lt. Surge came back from the war, he took him out, so Misty set up her own gym in Cerulean city.

I love this concept the only thing i would change is having coralans axe be gyrados and after misty sees it in an intense battle thats where her fear of gyrados comes from that she has in the anime

Considering this is set 30 years in the past of Kantos Red and Blue, Bruno kinda is an issue since he is in mid thirties/early forties, meaning he was in the 5/10 range at the start of this series, as he is the similair in age to Lorelei.

Awesome part I like how all the gym leaders and elite four members are relatives of modern Kanto Gym Leaders and Elite Four Members. My favorite character Coralan he seems like a very cool guy with him using his surfboard. I’m looking forward to the next part of Kanto Origins after holiday break.

Awesome work! Really enjoyed it 😊 A few points from my perspective: - The Vermillion Water Gym being run by the later Captain of the SS Anne is a missed opportunity. - Karate Kid Bruno shouldn't have an evolved Pokémon (Yes, Misty has one as a 2nd Gym leader also, but it's a Stone Evo and she only has 2 Pokémon). You could think about allowing later Evos and Pre-Evos and give him a Tyrogue as his ace, would also stick with the 'Karate Kid' theme. - The order of the gyms seems a bit strange. Lavender Town being the first one is cool, Saffron, Celadon and Fuchsia next is fine, but how do you get from there to Vermillion and right after to Cinnabar? The path should lead directly to Cinnabar making young Blaine Gym Leader no 5, next up Viridian and Pewter where after obtaining the 7th badge a small event activates where it's being discovered that Diglett and Dugtrio actually made a Tunnel that leads to Vermillion where Gym no 8 awaits. Because of the recent Earthquakes happened around the Tunnel location, Vermillion can't be entered before.

-The "path" also got me a little confused there, your solution makes more sense (then again, Giovanni's mom as the last Gym Leader w/Dragonite is kind of epic) -Bruno's Primeape also made me raise a brow, but I gave it a pass as a lvl 25 pre-evo, in Galar the first Leader has a lvl 20 pkmn, a lvl 25 for the 2nd ace isn't that bad, there could be a long first gym path or a long in-between gym arc, PLUS this gives us precedent for a Dragonite being legit lvl 55 as the last ace Then again, that's just a theory...A GAME THEORY! (RIP)

For a idea for kanto origin, since kanto doesn’t actually have a “ Box “ legendary. Maybe in the past kanto did had a legendary but in the future it disappeared

This is beautiful, pokemon doesnt really explore deeper themes. The inclusions here into the story and characters are done so tastefully. Amazing job!

Cool idea. I like adding mega Lapras what I'd like to see in this (or any kanto game) is the addition of kanto evolution scizor electivire sylveon annihilape etc. You could even give lapras an evo

The only thing I’d change would be make Fuscia gym leader Kogas sister due to the fact Koga is an adult in Red/Blue then his daughter takes over after him

Great and creative video! I'd only suggest replacing Oak's Kangaskhan or Jolteon with Tauros. In the RBY code, there's a cut battle where Oak uses Tauros. Considering Tauros' iconic status in the competitive Gen 1 era, and the fact that no one else uses a Tauros, I believe it would be a great addition to Oak's team

Great work. I think as a player you should be given an Eevee as a starter. Then a bit later you should meet the professor who will give you one of the 3 Stones to evolve it.

Maybe go farther and have the option to get all the eeveelutions. I don't think it's too crazy to add gen 1 evos that were added later as well certain johto pokemon such as the ones in the GSC postgame

I like this idea. I'll will expand the Knato dex by giving all the pokemon that have an evolution or pre-evolution in a different generation available in the Kanto regional dex. Example: all 8 eevee evolution should be available in game. That will help expand the variety of pokemon 😀

Still haven't watched the video, so I hope my predictions here are right: based on the earlier concepts of pokémon red and green, there could be: - A normal type gym leader (possibly in Viridian?) who was a bratty boy - A ghost/dead girl as the ghost type gym leader in Lavender (Erika was supposed to be this until they repurposed her into grass type - just notice how her eyes are closed, her pokeball is levitating, and her kimono is used in a way that only dead people use it) - Younger Blaine as the fire type gym leader in Cinnabar - A flying type gym leader (at first, Giovanni was supposed to be this; just look at how the Earth Badge is basically a feather) - A psychic type gym leader as the final one (makes sense, since psychic types are overpowered in gen 1) - Agatha could be your rival/champion, using Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Tangela, and Tauros (if she had a 6th pokémon, we could add Gengar just for reference sake)

It’s literally this easy GameFreak & Pokémon. Build on the lore of existing characters instead of generating new characters with no connection to characters from previous generations. Pokémon lore it kitty pool deep, but has the potential to be so much more. I don’t know if they don’t care to expand on the lore because they feel their main audience (younger fans) won’t care for or know the lore, but it irritates me how rich the lore could be. It’s honestly a running thread with Pokémon as of late. There are so many more videos that discuss what could have been recently.

This was phenomenal! Sammy Oak should have a Pikachu since it makes sense from the animal that Pika could have been his and is overleveled (since Pika ignores Ash).

Bro here are some ideas you should add In order to chalange the first gym you need to do a mission in the Pokemon tower and also Fuji should have a lickitung and a ditto as he had one in the fan made game Pokemon Fire Red Rocket edition Bruno should only have two Pokemon as misty had two and it should be Primape and Mankey The other are all fine I also think that Giovanni's mom should have created a older version of Team Rocket I also think that there should be some Pokemon of the past like the hisuian Pokemon or the paradox Pokemon

Great video but maybe have some issues with the Rock Type Leader, the stone textured suit seems like too much and makes it too obvious; It would work just fine without it. (Dont get me wrong looks fine but I prefer a more subtle design to show the rock theme) The hair is a right guess for example. The Elite Four bug type seems out of the pocket for me, I would prefer Geos, mother on that position and the Bug trainer as Viridian Gym Leader suits better because of green theme (and considering how close is from viridian forest). His team is too weak except for his Mega, maybe if he had access to options like scizor or any other region pool I would second this.

Not the most balanced gyms- the geodude is at a clear disadvantage early compared to the others, not to mention that everyone can’t just be someone else’s father. Like after Fuji and Bruno we got just so many relatives when there are so many other NPC’s to pull from in Kanto. Still love this idea though

Like just a couple ideas I had here would be it would make sense for Giovani’s mom to be a type ground is strong against, as he was all about total power, so naturally he’d start with his mother if you kept her. I think people like the catch tutorial old man in the road, the SS Anne captain before he’s a Sea Captain, the Pokémon fan club chairman, Warden from the safari zone (it wouldn’t exist) All these characters are great examples of people I’m sure had rich pasts and would have well been around for this

Just throwing a suggestion out there but instead of Elite 4 - Frost having "Mega Lapras" (due to it not existing) replace the supposed Mega Evolution with G-Max Lapras to up the stakes of he's the 3rd member of the E4. I know in canon of the main series games Dynamax/Gigantimax don't occur in other regions outside of Galar due to not having Power Spots all over the region but (you could make an exception in that instance for Lapras). just a suggestion, seeing G-Max Lapras in a Elite 4 Team can really help his character profile and with Frost being Loreli's Uncle, his Lapras can be the very same one on her future Elite 4 team in canon and she's also aware of G-Max but doesn't use it. Also Frost being the only member of your Elite 4 cast who can use Gigantimax would catch Professor Oaks attention with the possibility of Oaks Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur being able to G-Max further down the line

There is some things wrong with the game design Bruno cannot be the gym leader cause he’s too young to be a gym leader at that time as he’d be as old as Blaine oak and Fuji at the start of the original game which wouldn’t make sense as he looks super young in the original game. Also Fuji shouldn’t be the first gym leader as you’d need the hm flash to make it to lavender town unless you go through saffron city to get to him. The gym leaders related to misty and Brock should be their grandfathers instead of fathers imo. Otherwise it sounds pretty good just have to think of which way you want to traverse the world

Exactly, Bruno is the same age/similair age as Lorelei. So he is between 5/10 years old at the start of the series. Both are the same age as Professor Elm as well.

@@Xatumi Bruno is in mid/late thirties/early fourties. So is Lorelei. So having Bruno as a gym leader is impossible, unless he became a gym leader at the age of 5/10. Koga is also around mid thirties because Janine is 15/16. Oak and Agatha are in their sixties, so around 15/20 year older than Bruno and Lorelei. Lance is early/mid twenties.
