- Explaining the Kingdom Hearts Timeline project - As many of you already know, the Kingdom Hearts Timeline project started back in April 2018 as a way to prepare all of us for the release of Kingdom Hearts 3. What is the Timeline project? Basically, you'll see all of the story events as they chronologically happen. Which is seemingly easy to do, but...if you're familiar with Kingdom Hearts, then you do know the series is so full of flashbacks, callbacks and retcons, that it's extremely easy to lose track of them. I always like to think of the Timeline as an experiment. I wasn’t sure if it could be a welcome one but, somehow, it was so well received that it exceeded my expectations. The original Timeline was just a way to re-live all of the Kingdom Hearts titles leading to KH3, in a different, yet familiar way. I never had plans to go back to it, as I was fully aware of all the flashbacks and callbacks that could be added in the future titles. I don’t really like the idea of uploading new, fixed episodes every now and then-it would just confuse all of you (and, more than anyone, myself!) Still, the requests and messages I received in the past few years made me reconsider my plans. More than anything, I did plan to complete the KHUX saga, as it was the only incomplete title when KH3 came out. So here we are! Now that KHUX ended I have everything at my disposal for making the ultimate, complete chronological version of this title. I can’t stress enough the purpose of this project-this doesn’t want to be the best or the perfect way of experiencing the Kingdom Hearts saga. All of the titles should be played following their release dates. The Timeline is simply an alternate way of experiencing the story we already know and only players who already played the games should watch it. New players would be spoiled about some plot points, so be warned. This project gives you a different perspective on specific events, and the adding of new musics, flashbacks, callbacks and secret reports, makes the whole experience even more unique and immersive. A: No. I’ll just reupload the episodes containing flashbacks/callbacks that we got to see after the release of KH3. For instance, the beginning of Birth by Sleep will be reuploaded since I’ll have to add the dialogue between Master Xehanort and Vanitas at the Land of Departure, occurring in Dark Road. 2) Q: Will the old episodes be deleted? A: No. All of the episodes will stay, but the new ones will have the text “NEW” in the thumbnail and in the video title. The new episodes will replace the old ones in the Timeline playlist in my channel. 3) Q: Will you be making KH3 as well? A: Yes, but my main goal was completing both KHUX and Dark Road. I do have some plans for KH3 but I’m considering of using the PC version of it, so I can disable the music through mods and do some…special stuff. A: No. KHUX will still finish on Episode 11 like I planned years ago. Dark Road will start on Episode 12. There's no way I can put the whole story of Missing-Link in the Timeline, not in the near future. That game's story might last some years, like it happened with KHUX. Appreciate the fact that if Everglow had to go back to re-record these that he also changed out his medals to not practically one shot everything due the insane power creep this game went through.

I love how since you picked Gula' Union, and because Gula is the last seen walking off in Back Cover before Ava in disguise as him meets your characters, that it contributes to the few minute belief that that's your Union Leader in front of you before the twist. Very nice touch.

Also, I never thought about the "Sigil" part of the prophecy about the traitor. Damnit LuXu.

Man looking at the timeline man you can’t help but feel bad for Luxu and Ava. If you think about it their roles are similar in that they both had to watch while their friends pretty much fight and kill each other all because the master manipulated them so he could lure out the darkness and have them be host just so they have a chance to destroy it, it’s just heartbreaking. Luxu you can tell this man is tired and sad because he saw a lot of people died for thousands of years and even though he tries to change everything it’s meaningless because it’s still in line with the MOM plan. Maybe Sora has a chance to save Luxu and Ava from their sadness

Fucking AMAZING use of the cavern of rememberance ost, especially 9:38 to 9:52. It's the little extra details that make this series.

the player: doesn't speak for almost the whole game. Also the player: gives a long monologue about friendship off the cuff.

I know everything about this day was dramatic, but I can't help to imagine Ava run from one place to another because she has to speak to MC and Skuld and also deal with the whole in-fighting at the same time.

The Seeds of Hope are being planted, but the Foreteller are growing more and more divided.

I wonder if anyone kept tabs on the amount of lux the unions had collected by the end of X’s life cycle. From what I remember back in the day Vulpes was super far ahead of the others almost indefinitely or at least up until I stopped playing

Seeing the Foretellers fight only makes me more excited for Kingdom Hearts IV and the rest of the Lost Master Arc, I’m just dying to fight them as Sora and see their interactiond and encounters with him

As Master Ava gathering the Keyblade Wielders, the Keyblade War is coming. Will they listen Ava's words? Or will they fight against each other to prove who's the traitor? I don't complain at all about the story of Kingdom Hearts until now, but I can't avoid to think I would like to see some of the elements from Disney's Worlds that were removed in Sora's journey. Example: I would have liked to see Sora, Donald and Goofy facing Gaston in Beast's Castle, or meeting the Sultan in Agrabah.

I like how the "dumb" characters like Aced and Terra (though aren't actually dumb but are just socially inept and for some reason western audiences confuse that with a lack of intelligence) ended up being right with their stances (and by extension Demyx as well). It just goes to show that it's always the ones people count out the most are truly the underdogs. Aced, Terra, and Demyx deserve more respect.

Honestly, if you really think about it, while the relationship between Ephemer and the player seems sort of rushed, the same CANNOT be said for the relationship between the player character and Skuld; In fact, the player character seems to interact with Skuld WAY more than Ephemer even though all three characters were clearly meant to be a de-facto trio similar to other groups of characters throughout the series. To me, this also highlights even more just how rushed the relationship between the player character and Ephemer is when the relationship between the player character and Skuld is given a lot more screentime.
