We're finally, completely done with the Timeline portion of KHUX! This was the hardest title to do but also one of the most fun. This game will still keep a special place in my heart. As of today, we're still not 100% sure about what happened between Luxu and Brain at the end. In this episode I kept my own interpretation and order of the events according to the KH3 secret reports, but please, take this with a grain of salt. We'll have more answers whenever Missing Link comes out. Next up, Dark Road. - Explaining the Kingdom Hearts Timeline project - As many of you already know, the Kingdom Hearts Timeline project started back in April 2018 as a way to prepare all of us for the release of Kingdom Hearts 3. What is the Timeline project? Basically, you'll see all of the story events as they chronologically happen. Which is seemingly easy to do, but...if you're familiar with Kingdom Hearts, then you do know the series is so full of flashbacks, callbacks and retcons, that it's extremely easy to lose track of them. I always like to think of the Timeline as an experiment. I wasn’t sure if it could be a welcome one but, somehow, it was so well received that it exceeded my expectations. The original Timeline was just a way to re-live all of the Kingdom Hearts titles leading to KH3, in a different, yet familiar way. I never had plans to go back to it, as I was fully aware of all the flashbacks and callbacks that could be added in the future titles. I don’t really like the idea of uploading new, fixed episodes every now and then-it would just confuse all of you (and, more than anyone, myself!) Still, the requests and messages I received in the past few years made me reconsider my plans. More than anything, I did plan to complete the KHUX saga, as it was the only incomplete title when KH3 came out. So here we are! Now that KHUX ended I have everything at my disposal for making the ultimate, complete chronological version of this title. I can’t stress enough the purpose of this project-this doesn’t want to be the best or the perfect way of experiencing the Kingdom Hearts saga. All of the titles should be played following their release dates. The Timeline is simply an alternate way of experiencing the story we already know and only players who already played the games should watch it. New players would be spoiled about some plot points, so be warned. This project gives you a different perspective on specific events, and the adding of new musics, flashbacks, callbacks and secret reports, makes the whole experience even more unique and immersive. The new episodes will replace the old ones in the Timeline playlist in my channel. 3) Q: Will you be making KH3 as well? A: Yes, but my main goal was completing both KHUX and Dark Road. i love how the player character COMPLETELY outplays the darknesses in the end of union cross,he goes down but he goes down bringing 4 of the indestructible and imortal bad guys with him,what a legend

UX’s finale definitely holds up as one of the the series and I wanna see as many of the remaining Union Leaders reunite with each other at some point in the Lost Master Arc

You really know how to pull heartstrings with those flashbacks and the use of Link to All (Lights of Destiny) in such a tragic and saddening way. After so long, it's really satisfying to finally have the complete story of UX in the Timeline. An incredible job once again for helping us relive a game in this franchise in new ways. Honestly, being able to see all these scenes in large chunks, rather than monthly updates, was really refreshing. OK I didn’t expect that to happen ! The Everglow character getting possessed like that . But I didn’t realize it was his plan to trick those dark beings . Very clever .

I remember seeing the finale of KHUX, I was so shocked and surprised of what happened but sad that the adventure is over. I met so many wonderful people in that game and I do hope maybe…in Kingdom Hearts 4, it will give us the option to create our character again so we can help Sora and his friends in the third life. May our heart be our guiding key

I don't know if anyone would agree with me on this but i feel like the player's canon name would either be Yuu which is a common name placeholder for rpg games back in the day which is suppose to be a play on words of the word "you". The second name i believe it be more fitting would be Hikari which means light, which makes sense to me. But what do you guys think?

Union X’s finale was a rollercoaster of emotions.

It’s been nearly 6 days since the last video of the new timeline came out. I’m beyond excited for more new videos in this series. This union cross portion has been excellent so far!

It's a very sad at the very end of us, our player's first lifetime in Union x. :( But we'll be waiting to a new life in the new game for our player in Missing Link! May our heart be our guiding key! ;)

My theory is that Luxu took the body of Brain while sending his heart into the future in the same way the Master did himself. Luxu may know how to travel into the future but it is his duty to watch it unfold step by step so he doesn't take short cuts. But that is just a theory, a Game-----

I NEVER NOTICED THE TEARS OF BRAIN

It's so great that Missing Link really is it's namesake THE missing link between a story so huge in time frame. The fact that it's been going on so long and has had each game neatly connect to the next except for this blank period that is the only part of the story not linked and it finally will be. This is gonna be huge.

Oh... about 27 minutes in, as Everglow see the Dandelions die... you see the Keyblade wielders he did the summer missions with. Everglow's last summer vacation... And the music for Mickey's Final Stand as Everglow's triumph in doing what MoM failed to do and seal FOUR Darknesses away at once... ...Maybe it was Everglow/Player who was the true Virus all along. They are a big reason all the Union Leaders managed to escape the Data World when they should have been sealed to trap Darkness...

Maybe it was intentional but I just realized you didn't use that one scene in Fragmentary Passage where Luxu (having No Name and the box) watches Kingdom Hearts show up in the Keyblade Graveyard, which I assumed happened right after the War

TEARS Everglow, is that why you really make these timelines? Because you enjoy making us cry? That must be it, or else you wouldn't do that to us. Seriously though, this episode is so good. The music, the editing--especially that montage during the Player's fight with Ephemer and Skuld... genius. Then adding a snippet of the Child of Destiny scene from Dark Road during the scenes at the end, too. There were so many promises made during this episode; some kept, some not. You can see the moment when the Player decides to sacrifice themself--when they see that Ephemer plans to have them be the one to survive, and they realize it's the only way to save their friends. Honestly, their sacrifice is one of the saddest moments in the series for me, but so is the realization that the Five--counting Ven--would never be reunited again because of the fact that they were scattered across the timeline. Ephemer already lived out his life; Brain is most likely Eraqus' grandfather who disappeared fighting darkness (considering the Secret Report, it seems that he didn't become Luxu's vessel after all). Skuld might be Subject X, but considering the revelation about Xehanort's heritage in Dark Road and his mother's appearance, it seems likely that she ended up in Scala ad Caelum too. That just leaves Lauriam and Ven; hopefully they'll reunite in the present, along with Elrena (what happened to you, Elrena? You were so nice!!!), regain their memories of Union X, and bring Strelitzia back with Sora.

Loved this new episode ux really did have a good ending plus seeing what luxu looked like was mind blowing for me along with you tricking the darkness lol can't wait to see the next episode

Great video as always Everglow, was just wondering how long before 12 is released as these past videos have had a pretty consistent 3-4 day break butbits been a week and have been checking the channel several times a day just in case I missed the notification as I do that sometimes. So I was wrong. This was the final episode for UX. Time for Episode 12 to be either Dark Road all in one video or be like Union X and split into different episodes.

Every passing day and seeing videos like this it really should be a given fact at this point that skuld is project x. I just know it. If she travelled on the lifeboats with the other dandelions then there would be no weight to the theory at all.

the second excerpt suggests that the person we see in the end with the box and the keyblade isn't Luxu but actually Brain, since it says that Luxu gave his keyblade to one of the leaders and only later cast away he's body...

At 34:29 when Brain says "Some of my friends escaped together" I wonder if he also means Luxu. Somehow Luxu and Brain both survived...what if Luxu gave up his body and passed then Keyblade to Brain and then Brain took the last Pod. Then Luxu, time traveled without a body to wherever Brain wound up. Luxu must have also entrusted the box to Brain. Also, Sigurd knew Brain would appear on that day because Ephemer had the Book and it said when and where Brain would wind up

The Daybreak Town is destroyed by the darkness. And Elrena, Ven and Lauriam has gone to a different world. Not only that, Luxu has taking Brain's body as a vessel. The story of Kingdom Hearts continues.

Eraqus has to be Brain descendent because why else could Eraqus could have the master defender. I’m really interested to see Missing Links but it’s going to be awhile until that game comes out but for now can’t wait to see your timeline videos of Dark Road

Right, I thought when you took the pod, you'd get out of the data world and go to the real world. From here, you could go into the future because the pod is incomplete, or go back to the data world. But when Ephemer and Skuld left the pod ( 21:18) , they witnessed glitchs...?

19:45 wait a minute... Why is Luxu talking like Brain was not a union leader all this time when it was Ventus possessed by darkness and killing a real union leader, Strelitzia?

So I have to say this...what if Nomura pulled the biggest switcheroo on us? Observations, Excerpt 2... There's a line in there that has me questioning things. Now I can be wrong but here me out. Luxu states, and I quote, "I Bequeath my Keyblade to one of the Union Leaders, just as the Master Instructed." Then later on quote, "And now, Keybladeless, I must depart this land to fulfill my final task. This means casting my own body aside and sojourning my heart in vessel after vessel-" When we first see this finale, we see that Luxu is with No Name and in the Keyblade Graveyard and takes off his good to reveal Brain. We assume that's his first vessel, and it could be... But look at the wording, "And now, Keybladeless, I must depart." What if we assume, and hear me out, that Brain was never a vessel for Luxu. And just someone he gave the Keyblade too, and that was the actual Brain walking around the Keyblade Graveyard? Thoughts?

Wait, this actually has me thinking. Since the protagonist of Missing Link is confirmed to be the reincarnated Union Cross protagonist, and Brain literally survives the events of Missing Link to be the grandfather of Eraqus, what's the interaction gonna be like between the reincarnated Union Cross protagonist and Brain in Missing Link? Is the player gonna need to explain to Brain what happened in the data Daybreak Town all those years back? On top of that, how exactly did the Missing Link protagonist manage to get their memories of Union Cross back? Me thinks Ephemer did some experiments in the main castle of Scala a long time ago; After all, Ephemer would have 100% noticed that the Union Cross protagonist is actually mentioned in the Book of Prophecies when referring to Scala, especially since he presumably still had the Book of Prophecies with him when founding Scala Ad Caelum, so Ephemer likely would have been doing some secret experiments with the intent of bringing the Union Cross protagonist back to life in some way. Likewise, when looking through the Book of Prophecies, Ephemer would have DEFINITELY seen that Brain is mentioned also when referring to Scala just like the Union Cross protagonist, yet he would have also probably found Luxu on the same page of the Book, so no experiments this time.

Xehanorts mother looks a bit like like Skuld. But interesting seeing 2 organization members past, there r now 2 left who's past is unkown. I presume Luxu too over Brain body and became Braig, who later became Xigbar, probably when he became Luxu again that is when Brain gains his body back.

At first I thought that there was an afterlife in kingdom hearts 3 then I thought that they just reincarnate but now I'm wondering if reincarnation is because of the Master of Masters or just the fact the main character remembers their past life or did he do something to regain his past memories in Missing Link. The major question I have is why does the Master of Masters gives them the choice to go to sleep and their chirithy become Dream Eaters at first I thought that at the end he would leave a message and revealing all the evil stuff they will be doing was to motivate Sora too get strong enough to destroy the 13 True Darkness and reveal a way to bring back the people who died in the keyblade war. I thought you would have to be a lot stronger than the person who the True Darkness was in so the Master of Masters wasn't strong enough to destroy them so he would have the Foretellers doing evil things for some vague grand plan that he has but it's just to motivate Sora to get strong enough to destroy them and the True Darkness. The events of Dark Road however made me rethink that because Xehanort seemed to be able to destroy one of the True Darkness and If he did destroy one then why couldn't the Master of Masters maybe they can only be destroyed if pushed to their limit or the master has some other plan and will use the sleeping hearts of those who died during the keyblade war for something like I don't think this is his plan but HMK thinks he wants to merge kingdom hearts universe with Quadratum what if he needed a lot of hearts to make that happen

So I'm kinda confused, did Luxu steal Brain's body and then send his heart to the future with the lifeboat? They said that your body gets lost anyway and will reform upon arrival if you fulfill the 2 conditions, so should be fine that Luxu stole his body

5:14. Maybe it's just me thinking this, but it almost seems like the developers were intending for the player, Skuld, and Ephemer to be their own trio. The scene here appears to be at least supporting that idea, though, again, it could just be me thinking this. Obviously it didn't work out in the end, but it feels like the developers were trying to convey this idea before, well, shit hit the fan. In all seriousness, this game's ending is incredibly tragic, and it gets even more tragic knowing that the player willingly sacrificed their own life as a last desperate attempt to stop the True Darknesses from spreading throughout the datascape AND to save their friends at the same time.

So tell me what is Episode 12?

Is it possible that the real brain was already lost to Luxu and this one is just the Data Brain that has taken a heart of his own? Would bring a new meaning to him being a virus as well
