My wife is from Beijing and im from WV. When we purchased my new 6 ton excavator, she did not understand the excitement from everyone around. 😂 It was a moment of cultural differences. That day was my day... and a proud time in my life. 😂

Congratulations! My husband bought a new John Deere with all the attachments when he retired and he absolutely loves it. He spends days on that tractor working and playing. Matt’s life just got so much easier. Tipper, I once owned a Ford EXP, 2 seats with a Sunroof but my Grandsons came along and I had to have more seats. 😊 My grandsons are the joy of my life.Continued prayers for Katie,Corie, and Granny.❤🙏

Omg my mother in law had an EXP when my husband was a kid (he’s 47) and she STILL talks about how much she misses that car, I’ve never heard of anyone else who had one, they must have really been something 😅

Being able to purchase the things you need as you age is such a blessing! We transition every year, one tool at a time, to make the work easier. Our kids may be grown and gone, but the size of the yard and the work that needs to be done remains the same. Without those helping hands, we have more to do and age has affected how much and how often we do it. Pleased as can be that you and Matt's time will be more efficient, leaving more moments with those grandbabies!

Our retirement income is more than we used to make working. Like Matt and Tipper we were able to pay off our house and cars soon after retirement. One daughter desperately needed a reliable car so we sold her one of ours. Now we only have one car to maintain and insure. Life is so good I just bought my husband a new propane grill to replace the rusting barrel grill of 26 years. He’s enjoying it and I’m hoping we’ll be using it more often and cooking healthier by grilling.

I know what you mean about the yard not getting smaller we have a 70+ acre farm and as I am retired now it’s getting harder and harder for me to keep the place up. Had plans to purchase newer and more efficient equipment but the price of things in the last few years has slowed our buying

I’m a grown Okie and when I saw that tractor coming up your driveway, I got a lump in my throat, cause I know how much this family loves to grow a garden. This will make things a lot easier for Matt. I know you guys are so excited having it. Can’t wait to watch him tilling the big garden. This Okie is proud for y’all, enjoy and be careful . And y’all might have to take Katie for a ride and bounce her around a little so little bit will hurry and arrive. Lol

Yeah for your new Kubota acquisition.My husband loved his. He bought it to cut our thirteen acres along with cutting deck and then a snowblower attachment to clean our lane. He had bought a brush hog he purchased an enclosed cab after dealing with a two foot snowfall. He loved it and shed a few tears when we sold it and retired to Fl. He passed away nearly four years ago.Seeing. This Kubota brings back great memories. PS you will be pleased you chose 4 wheel drive Happy for you

I am so happy that all of your and your family's hard work is paying off as I am sure Matt is a proud and happy camper to own this beautiful new tractor. My father retired and moved back home to Arkansas and I was going to buy him a tractor but sadly he passed on before I got him his tractor. A new tractor is so exciting. Matt, Grumpy Old Man and I realized we had to have a rake (articulating). He basically quit using the box blade on the driveway, and only used the rake. And he used it to clean up leaves, small limbs and sticks. It was a lifesaver. We sold our tractor recently because my nephew (lives next door) bought a new Kabota. We sold some implements with the tractor and gave the others to my nephew. In return, he now works our driveway.

It really is a blessing. Most of my family lives right here on the land my mom and dad purchased from my grandmother in the early 70s. We take care of each other. We share everything. We have my dad's garage with his tools (and our tools), and we all use it. @@smc130

Matt, there is a learning curve to operating a tractor. I won’t tell you the horror stories of when I worked on the emergency squad about tractors tipping over. Be safe.

Tipper , I refused to drive our tractor for 2 years, but my husband said last Friday, I really need help working on our driveway and you are the only one here, so dear let’s go and show you how to drive that tractor! I was little nervous but our youngest son moved out couple years ago and our boys work so hard and has their own stuff to do , I just had to help my husband! And well I enjoyed it really!

Oh Tipper, this is the best. I'm just over the moon for ya'll. I was having a mild heart attack over the 4,000 I spent getting a john deer mower but these types of investments do so much for us. As long as they're maintenenced and cared for, they can last a long time! Matt is about to have a ball with that tractor! Hard working money well spent. Congrats!

Congratulations on getting your new tractor. I’m sure you will use it a lot. I remember when I was a young girl,we lived on a farm and my Daddy and Mother always planted a very large garden and at one time he used a team of horses with a plow to work up the garden. I’m 82 now and that brings a lot of good memories.

I like manual transmission too, Tipper. Makes me feel ...a certain kind a way (strong or something, IDK) to drive manual transmission. Made sure our kids learned how to drive on them. SO HAPPY ABOUT YOUR TRACTOR !🙌🏼 💞

I'm with you Tipper, I loved my manual transmission vehicles.. I had a 1983 Buick Skyhawk 5 speed. It lasted and was passed downtown other family members for years. I always felt like I had more control with a standard transmission❤❤❤.

Matt is going to love the tractor. Make sure he adds fluid to the back tires. Need ballast in those tires to keep it from being tippy on those hills. Compact tractors are easy to turn over. Mine is green but about the same horsepower and I use it almost everyday. I don’t have employees anymore so that tractor is my employee now. It’s amazing how much work one man and a tractor can get done. Congratulations!

That tractor is absolutely beautiful and you can't go wrong with a Kabota. My late husband had a 1999 New Holland (21 HP) tractor that he absolutely loved & used all the time. It was one of the best pieces of equipment that we ever bought during all our married years. He was still using it a month before he passed away & just loved being on it doing things around our place. I know you will get many, many years of enjoyment from your new tractor.

Matt- I learned to drive a tractor with gear shift. And like you I would rather have a gear shift tractor. I helped my daddy numerous times with that tractor. It has been parked for 17 years under the shed where daddy parked it with awesome memories. Miss those times and miss my daddy. Congratulations, Matt and Tipper. Tipper it’s nothing to drive the tractor if you can drive a 4 speed. If this young teenage girl at the time, can drive it, it would be great to see another girl driving a tractor. Go for it girl.

Y’all will really enjoy the tractor. Congratulations!!!! It’s pretty much identical to ours that we bought last year. It’s the same size as ours and I was gonna go with the manual transmission, but the guy talked us into going with the hydrostatic transmission & now we are glad we did. We got the tiller attachment to and that’s a game changer with the garden. Happy Gardening & maintenance work!! 😇🙏🏻🙌🏻❤️

Congradulations on the new toy, I mean tractor. Being a farmer I own 10 of them. They are one of the most important tools and definately the most fun to use. You will really get alot done now, and it will really come in handy. With the gear drive it should last a lifetime or more, I have an IH 856 and Oliver 1655 both over 50 years old that I use daily and are gear drive.

My daddy worked for International Harvester when I was little. That was over 70 years ago. Good equipment well cared for will last a lifetime.

Matt, I am so proud for you. I got my first tractor about 4 years ago. It is a green one, lol. But it has been a life saver around my 2 acres here. We have raised bed garden so I did not get a tiller. I got a sets forks and a balance box from Titan on-line. I used the folks and the bucket the most, I have spread over 50 ton on crushed rock over the last 4 years. I got a man lift from Titan as well so my wife can lift me up to trim trees, etc. I can’t ladders. I am 2 years out from retirement and can’t wait. On last thing, once you get a set of forks start collecting pallets. My fire word, concrete blocks everything is on a pallet. So easy to move around. Tractors make some work fun, but don’t tell your wife it is fun. Lol

The way he showed the gardening tools my husband was like that’s really important points. Farmcraft101 is a Virginia farmer with amazing skills in rescuing tractors, bulldozers, trucks, etc. But John at Farmcraft101 has absolutely amazing machine shop skills: lathing, metal working, forging, etc. It is mezmerizing watching him -- he's articulate, funny and, like Matt, has incredible tenacity in solving problems. Amazing t watch. He's fixed hydraulic cylinders, levelers. Extraordinary! Makes fantastic videos. Saves himself lots of money, but who has that kind of skill and thank kind of workshop. Good Job, Matt! In any case, CONGRATULATIONS ! Nothing sweeter than a boy and his toys!

Congratulations on the tractor! And Tipper…..we have snow…again….4 in overnight and snow predicted all week here in Northern Michigan. I learned to drive an Army jeep…..on a two track. To stop I would slowly run into a tree! Proud that I can still drive a manual! And I don’t need trees anymore!! Blessings and prayers for all

Oh, wow! That’s the same model my husband and I bought when we lived in TN. He loved it and used it up until a month or two before he went home to be with the Lord! Memories!! ❤

Now after the harvest, you can hull the ground with all the old growth and let it stay in the ground if you mulch it up. Natural fertilizer. Congratulations Matt. Now your back won't be so sore or tired.
