These are GORGEOUS! Only problem is, I only have "The Path of Daggers" and "Winter's Heart" on hard cover. 😢

I purchased a set of book covers from Juniper for the Wheel of Time. The difference between my set and their "official" set is that my books are the same color as the dragon and "The Wheel of Time" is all on one line. The fronts lack the dragon symbol and are just single color past the spine marker. I think the spines are more flashy in your set, but I like the simple front better. Not sure if I'm allowed to link a picture.

About to finish The Eye Of The World on audible myself. Very eager to continue with the saga!!! I get chills looking at a Memory Of Light, the journey there will be an experience for 2020 and beyond!!!

That's an amazing idea, I passed it along to juniper books whom I ordered from to see if they can pass that suggestion along to the manufacturer.

As a graphic designer I find the fact that they had the opportunity to do different covers and backs but didn't to be absolutely appalling. It didn't have to be portraits like the original covers. It could have been simple min-like symbols. Printing is pretty expensive, but I am sure 150 covers more than this.

@@imaroughgempdx particularly since the spine graphic is the same dragon illustration. So they've created ONE illustration for this entire series.

Exactly, look at their design for his dark materials, each front cover is different so each book has its own personality.

Yeah it’s a joke really. I paid around €120 for all 14 books together. They were paperbacks but still. I’d be paying more for covers than the books themselves

I thought the price was reasonable for 15 covers then I found out the books aren't included.

It's being republished in Poland as well. It's hardcover, but the illustration is indentical on every volume (only color changes). This russian version looks amazing.

I have no nostalgia for the series (I finished reading them a month ago) and I prefer the Sweet covers by FAR! They're far more evocative and beautiful than the minimalist ones. My two cents, though.

I kinda dislike the old covers. Colors are vibrant but too "cartoonsy" if that's a word. Plus, I dislike how Rand al'Thor looks like starting in Book 4. He looks old, I mean, man, come on, The Dragon Reborn must not look this old, right?

Dean Ryan Martin as someone who recently finished the series for the first tome I read all of them on Ebook, seeing the original covers was funny as hell, my favourite being the power walking Schwarzenegger Rand we got on I think it was the lord of chaos

It's funny reading these comments 2 years later, not because I disagree - I also think they're pretty crappy - but somehow the price has gone from $150 to $225 lol.

Agreed. It's just lazy design work, especially with how easy it would have been to simply continue the art from the spine to the cover. Leaving the lazy cover art behind.

I am sure his hardcover collection is easier to read than paperback.

I agree, the spine looks amazing , but the rest is really disappointing. For that price I would expect really neat, distinct front and back covers. As someone above mentioned, one of the dragon prophecies on the back of every book would be incredible.

Time for a new book case then.
