@@Imnotactuallyadrinker They scored one PP goal. Most of the goals they have scored in their current 5 game win streak have been 5v5. Best PP in yhe league and now that their 5v5 scoring is heating up, they are smacking teams.

I always pop over here to watch the Oiler highlights after I watch the Leaf highlights. And I’ve come to realize that McDavid doesn’t even have a highlight reel. He just has his normal reel and everything on it is spectacular.

@@SillySongs4Everyone2001 there's a chance, this game proves that. Especially when you factor in ALL the obstacles the Oilers had to overcome in this game & season so far. Read between the lines what you will because you will anyway. Imo Paul Maurice was right in his assessment. This joke of a league is far more interested in catering to big money & woke agendas than the actual reasons why most people love this sport. If they don't realize that soon then this game is going to become more & more irrelevant in regards to its future because they have abandoned their roots, base & core fans along the way. Just you wait n see, because it may take a while but the cute dog chasing it's own tail is soon to be the snake eating it's own tail. But hey that's the way of this world is going now a days ain't it?

@LeafsRuleTheWorld1967 if the Oilers get a couple bounces against Avs last year that series is 2-2. Oilers match up well against Tampa, beat them 3 games. They can beat them and I think they would've last year but Avs deserved it.

Same thing happened last year. Oilers did horrible in the first half and came out strong after the new year. People tend to forget that a new goalie just doesn’t come in a play phenomenal right away, they need time to adjust and get used to a new team then what they were used to

@@jimbytarnish9698 I would not call the back to back champs an east cup win over two regular season games. No offense to the oilers, but how many teams have said Tampa will be easy and then lost? Florida and New York are the latest examples, and even the ONE team that beat them the last few years took 6 games with 2 of their wins coming in overtime.

Show that _Nurse guy,_ how to box-out opponents from your crease! Maybe he'll learn a thing or two! Also.... Gotta love Klim Kostin! Power forward, scoring beyond what was expected of him? Bringing an edge? Love that Samorukov trade more and more by the week! He's fought both (!) Kassian *and* Maroon (!) by this point, two (!) former "gotta use physicality to prove my worth" Oilers players... He's got the right mindset *and* the tools! Love it! Extend that guy! *) granted, he's 26. took the long route... @@01TA To be honest, I'm pretty ignorant about hockey. I just started paying attention last year during the playoffs. I realize in hockey there are lots of games, but in college football, which I primarily follow, a loss is a big deal when it comes to playoffs and championships. To me, it seems like the Lightning have been struggling, but again I'm coming from last year's playoffs when Vasilevskiy was making 49 saves on 50 shots or something like that.

Из Костина тафгая, что ли решили сделать? Это хорошо, что он крепкий малый и спокойно вступает в бои, но лучше бы и забивать к этому, не забывать играть в хоккей, как недавно вот дублем отличился. Так и продолжать. Конечно, и тренерское задание такое может быть, типа расчищать пространство для Мака, и Драйза, убирать штрафами хороших оборонщиков типа Маруна. Но лучше бы играть. Да Костин один раз плотно джебом приложил, но Марун то же боковым от бедра достал разок Костина. Так что там равный бой получили, как украшение к любому матчу хоккея.

That was like watching a playoff game, lots of everything. Mind you the hook, slew foot, butt end and cross check all in the same play on McD, wasn’t enough for the referees to call 5 minute major they need to go back to referees school.
