Thank you for doing this unboxing and side-by-side comparison between the vintage and reissue versions, especially the date versus no date. In my mind, this video has helped me feel a lot better about pulling the trigger for a black dial, no-date version - the fit and finish seem pretty decent for the US$1150 price range; also the milled clasp and solid end links look very well made versus the stamped clasp and folded links on the vintage piece. I have a few thoughts in response to the others in the comments section: Is the F77 heavily inspired by the Royal Oak? Of course it is; there is hardly a genuinely fresh and new design in the watch world for under $2K these days (barring the truly weird and wonderful). It's hard enough for brands to break away from their own heritage, and honestly the Royal Oak is a little too blocky for my liking; I like this design on its own merits - box sapphire crystal, generous chamfers/facets that slim down the case, and a unique dial texture that you don't see anywhere else. Would this F77 fare any better against the Tissot PRX? I guess I'll have to report back when I get my own example and do a comparison with my PRX Powermatic 80. My gut feel is that the F77's 45mm L2L dimension will wear better versus the PRX L2L dimension of 51mm. I have a 7.25" - 7.5" wrist and the PRX just about looks okay on me. Also, the F77 has a screw-down crown that I believe would fare better for water resistance versus the PRX's push-pull crown. Regarding the Yema Wristmaster Traveller - a significant part of my decision to put my money on the F77 is because the Soprod 024 is a supposedly reliable/reputable movement based off the ETA 2824. Does anybody know who is producing these Nivada re-issues? Their online customer service support did not want to answer me this question! The Nivada website is in English language, prices are listed in Dollars which is a bit strange for an allegedly Swiss Made watch! Service Centers are in Switzerland, Hongkong and USA per their website. But they do not produce obviously. All very strange!

Any clarification and information on who the true producer is are much welcome!
