I've spent the last 2 years really studying my Bible, with note taking and high-lighting, but I wanted to try the art work Bibles. I ordered the NLT Inspire and was thrilled to find your review. Thanks and can't wait to get started!

A great tip for the ghosting/bleed through is to cut a piece of black paper and put behind the page. I don't do well with ghosting and find it difficult to enjoy reading the Bible when there is too much, but read this hint on the internet and it really does work. I have sheets of black paper in all my Bibles. The ghosting will decrease by about 80-90%. Now if I get a new Bible I never worry if when it comes if it will have ghosting or not cos I know the black paper will solve that problem. I buy paper about the thickness of printer paper so it's nice and flexible when it goes in the Bible. In the Inspire Bible when there are full pages of drawings the black paper will solve the interference with that on the back side of that page. Try it cos it works a treat.

My daughter ordered this bible. I can't wait until she gets it. I think she's going to love it!

I have seen these on the CBD website and have been curious about them. Don’t know if my wife would color the art work, but she might use the journaling feature. The NLT is my favorite version for devotional study.

Thank you so much darling. I have the normal size of this one. And i have to say, sometimes i struggle with the size when i color in the images. I have to turn the bible to color it in. So i love that they have this bigger size now! Way better for me. Does the bible feel soft? Because the small one has such a soft touch. I love that. God bless you sister.
