OUR SECRETS REVEALED: Are you ready for a deep dive into a Norwegian woman's personal stuff? The things we find, what can it say about Norway and Norwegians today. What are our priorities in life? What is important to us? How vain are we? What do we do in our spare time? What is the most expensive we find? And not least, which bag design is popular in Norway?
This is, of course, a super serious research project and a qualitative study of modern Norway and its demands for being a citizen. At the same time, it’s a humorous video full of little funny secrets and important details of everyday life and celebration.
In this video you get answers to life's small and big questions. You will also hear the story of how cows and milking have inspired Norwegian skin care. Which scents we prefer. And what we dislike. You also get to know what it is like to be a single mother in Norway and what challenges she faces. What must she always be prepared for?
The woman in the film is anonymous, but she will tell bits of her personal history and confirm that this is a typical Norwegian bag and bathing cabinet, with typical content. At the end, anonymity slips, and we get a rare picture of a typical shy and introvert Norwegian woman who hates being in front of the camera.
Ronald digs into the privacy of others. Mads gets a little embarrassed. Ronald responds as usual in a sarcastic manner and at the end it ends up as a satire about Norway, pragmatic women and less handy men.
Thanks to all watching, subscribing, reacting, sharing and engaging. We love you all. As always, a satiric and self-deprecating yourway2norway (your travel guide to Norway and to understand the Norwegian culture) video, made by Mads Nilsson and Ronald Sagatun

Love the new merch. Seeing a Matpakke in plastic was a bit of a disappointment, although it did look small and plain, not overstuffed, nothing I'd be thinking about eating prior to lunch. A perfect, nondistracting, functional Maspakke despite the non traditional packaging. Your hoodie was perfectly perfect. I'm hoping to be able to order one when funds allow it. Eating a Matpakke while wearing Matpakke merch...does life get any more complete?? Do they arrive wrapped in paper?? Lol I love you guys!

No my friend......if you are disappointed by the matpakke then you made it wrong. In the nordic wisdom taught to us by Ronald "You should not look forward to eating your matpakke" If you are disappointed than you probably did some unspeakably different, fancy, too much butter kind of thing to it to make you anticipate it tasting good. That's the beauty of the matpakke....its plain, boring and doesn't pretend to be anything it's not.

What explains Norway best is that matpakke shirt with the upside-down reindeer. LOL! Your friend is very pretty. Tell her thank you from me for letting you fellows do this show. The wooden bathroom door in your friend's apartment is interesting? Is that typical Norwegian? Yhe reason I ask is that I just installed a nice manufactured home on my ranch and the kitchen has woodwork exactly like that. Maybe the builders ordered it from Scandinavia? I had never seen anything like it before and now I see it in your video. I have watched so many of your videos that when I selected paint for my new cottage, and it all looked off-white or kind of beige, I was worried I had achieved the Norwegian colors of beige and beige. Fortunately, when I added a blue bed covering and a red Oriental carpet, the very pale green called "Marzipan" on the paint can, assumed the desired color. (I am a professional artist and, respectfully, I do not like Scandinavian minimalist functionality. My taste is for Italianate designs like the Winter Palace or the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, with lots of rococo, carved wood and rich fabrics inside.)

Your content is great! You are very good at delivering insightful information on your culture while making me smile 😆 You should make a video about the differences between the generations of Norwegians. Like an elderly Norwegian and someone just starting life as an adult 👍 It would be neat to see Norway from those two perspectives.

I don't carry warpaint in my bag, there's no point as it mostly rains here in Scotland and trying to reapply on a soggy damp face, well you might as well call yourself by an extra from.the creature from the black lagoon😏

Try reapplying it in the Southern U.S. sometimes where the humidity is high! Makeup literally melts off your face 5 minutes after you put it on!

Try applying in a hot, humid day un the midwestern states. You walk out of your house and instantly melts. Lol

Hei gutter. I have left a comment on the 'broken' vid that you have kindly replaced- it worked ok for me. Now this interesting insight into the Norsk psyche. Loved it! Involving your friend as an example to examine her bag and bathroom was genius in my opinion. I recognised her dislike of being filmed and singled out as a typical characteristic, those genes have definitely survived in me! I enjoyed the insight into part of your friend's life and of course yours and Mads comments, very funny, you two are naturals. For comparison and as a gay man myself, I would like to a see something similar using a male person but I understand that the idea has now been used. Another entertaining vid. Tusen talk................Oh and including 'Ja vi Elsker Dette Landet' at the end was genius. Best wishes from a warm and sunny (unusual) Northwest England. Johnny.

These always make me smile! Thank you. :) My purse has little similarities. A lot of cards, discount cards, med cards, etc. Notebook, eye drops, floss tooth pick (very important), scissors, ibuprofen, brush, and way too much spare change... Definitely feeling the no-perfume thing. I dislike most fragrances.
