Great update Jon. Good progress on your projects. We have damp, cool and dreary on this end of the state, and I'm afraid it's headed your way. Take the time to tell your family how awesome they are for going through this adventure with you.

Thankyou so much! I certainly will. The weather has been rough for working outside -- this TN clay is something else!

Great to have you back with your videos. I'm enjoying you and your family's escapades. Great job with the fiddin', too. I'd like to meet you and try one of your fiddles sometime. I live in Limestone Cove near Erwin, TN.

Hi Jon: I’ll be leaving for Arkansas to spend the winter fiddlin’ up around Mountain View. I leave here on the 23rd of this month. I’d love to meet you before I go, but I realize you’re probably very busy trying to get so much stuff done before “winter” sets in. I get a kick out of these winters here in TN and AR. I lived in Keene, NY in the Adirondack Mountains for 60 years before I came down here. I know what real winters are….just like you do after having lived in NH. I used to travel all over the White Mountains years ago. Spent a lotta time in Berlin and Jefferson Notch. Email me some time at fawarner946@hotmail.com Have a great day. Fred. I’ve got a website, too. www.frederickwarner.com

Welcome to tennessee. you picked the right side of the state to land in. If you get the urge to venture out, come check out Reelfoot Lake in Tiptonville, only a 400 mile drive but,,,, it is the largest natural eagle estuary in the northern hemisphere and the fishing is amazing. your hay is going to rot when you bury it and create a void. all that clay makes a great pack. sets up like concrete when it drys and if you ever do get a leak, it forces the water up. if you get a void and the clay rich soil doesnt settle, your going to have chuck holes, ankle breakers, and if you get a leak, youll have to walk down hill to figure it out. Keep up the good work... oh yeah, I'm not a religious person by any means but,.... Romans 818 says," For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy, to be compared with the glory, that shall be revealed in us." Everything is going to work out fine.

Sounds pretty neat....we had a lot of eagles up in NH...I don't remember seeing any when we were kids, though! One day I will ride out that way. I am planning on doing some exploring. That wasn't hay...it was straw...which should not rot very quickly...I hope. I only put in enough to shield the pipe from any rocks I missed. I'm not planning on having any leaks! Haha! My trench Simon the edge of the field, so there shouldn't be any surprise holes to step in, and I packed the clay in layers. I'm just figuring stuff out as I go! Thanks for the comments! Btw.... Interesting verse for a non-religious dude! Thanks!
