This week, work continues on the wall between the dormitory and the nursery. Thanks to your support I was able to purchase some new video equipment so hopefully there will be an improvement in the quality of videos as I learn to use it. Thank you all!

Please know Dolly friends, there were NO INJURIES incurred in the making of this video! On review, however, it seemed there ought to have been 😆 Take care of your finger placement when using sharp tools. Again , no injuries just close calls ❤ 😅

Hi Kim🤗 Persevere all the way! Definitely. That I can do. Make appropriate dollhousing decisions, not so much sometimes 😂 I like to watch videos that show what can go wrong so I have realistic expectations. 😍✨

Hi Siennaflower🤗 There was t enough $ to but groceries and gas 🤣 but at least some inexpensive tools of the trade. Im glad you approve of my beam for the light! I should have doubled up but oh well, it's working. I'm glad to have it up in the dorm. 😍✨

I try to think it out a little more than I did this project, especially for a supposedly "permanent" piece. I guess I could only get as far as making the shelves "not permanent" if I don't like them. There’s no such thing as a mistake when it comes to art! That’s how we figure out what we like or what we don’t like! Practically all my projects get to a point where I hate them! Lol but if I don’t give up, and push through, I’m usually happy with the final product. I’m proud of you for not giving up and your shelves are just darling. I love the little legs. Remember when you were just about to give up… hope whispers “one more time”

Certainly entertaining! The door bell chandelier gets raves from me. I love the quirky look of the all dolls at different scales and from diverse eras in bisque, plastic etc, all existing in the here and now. As I watched I had a jewelry box insert on the table here, that is becoming a bookcase, and the one section had ring holders I had to rip out, leaving glued in foam remnants. So you encouraged me to keep going to find a solution.

Our working 'technique' is so similar! I think the shelves turned out great. Isn't it wonderful when an idea comes to fruition. The shelves are perfect for all the toys and books etc of the nursery. Wonderful that you got some income from the videos, that is amazing! I could do with some of that 🤣

You will soon get some income my friend! I received one other payment but it wasn't as much. The amount is verryyyy low and it takes a looonnngg time to get it. But I'm having fun and making what I like to call glue money. Hahaha. I did get there in the end with these shelves but they're it one of my favorite projects. I will load them up with "stuff". 😍✨

Oh I just love your dolly adventures. The shelves turned out "just fine" as we say in our house when we are absolutely done fiddling with something! Those legs may haunt you down the road, tho. LOL The light fixture looks perfect BTW. Well done & congrats on getting the check.😊

Hi Cathy🤗 Yessss 'just fine!'. My daughter always says, "it'll be fine". Oh I know it about those legs. They'll be simple enough to change..I think 😅 I'm glad you like the light fixture! I'm thinking of doing a swing arm floor lamp for the nursery but that will be a few projects down the road. 😍✨

I like the wallpaper in the back of the 2 shelves! I think “crowded” is spot-on for a nursery - an enriching and stimulating environment - right? Dorm room light looks good too! Hahaha Hi Kathleen🤗 I didn't actually cut myself but sometimes I'm amazed I didn't..after the fact. My fingers were where?!?! I glad you think I'm funny, sometimes when editing the video I think, wow that must be annoying listening to me. I'm so excited to fill up the rooms with details. I love looking at rooms that are packed with details, like real houses of interesting people! At least those shelves are done, without commitment ! 😘😍✨

All that work paid off. I love how they turned out. They look very fitting for the era. I was thinking maybe putting the legs kitty corner so the front legs would be inset a little more and the back legs would be in the back corners. Possibly add 2 more beams to the ceiling where the light is and it would look more complete like that's how it's supposed to be. Either way love what you have created. I really know the feeling of this winging an idea and not really thinking it through. Just know you are not alone and I know you have learned quite a bit on do's and don'ts 🤏😘 it's all just part of the learning process and how we become great!🥰❤️

Hi Jolene! 🤗 Yesss! That's what I was thinking for the legs but I just couldn't seem to get it done! 🤣 I was also thinking something similar for the beams..it would be easy enough to do. I truly appreciate your encouragement! I think you are such an amazing artist and when I watch you I learn so much. I am happily also learning from my own mistakes. I'm always winging it but I try to have a little more of an idea formed in my mind before I get started. 😂 Hi Laura 🤗 No I didn't actually get hurt but as I was editing the video I noticed how dangerously close my fingers were to the blade🤣 I need to be more mindful! Just because the beds are currently empty in the infirmary doesn't mean I need to be in one. 😂😍✨

Hello Dot, I think they look great, and you got there in the end, at least the glue behaved this time and there were no hinges involved, patience is a virtue I sometimes lack, especially when waiting for glue to dry 😬, I finally got the hinges to stick on the cupboards, but they're stuck on the outside of them instead of the inside, it was either that of just glue the doors on. Hope you didn't cut your self too badly those mitre shears are very sharp 🫣 Have a great rest of the week, Best wishes from Yorkshire, England 🇬🇧 😊

Hahaha hi Diane. I didn't really cut myself with the mitre shears but sometimes, after I've made the cut, I think, wait..did I even move my fingers out of the way? Of course best practice is to think of that before the cut is made. 🤣 I'm glad you got the hinges on, sometimes that is all that can be done. I did one practice test and thought it would work but no...came right off. 😂 I'll let you know if I make any startling discoveries. 😍✨

Thanks so much Vicki 🤗 I still feel a little fish out of water with miniatures so I like to be pretty non-committal. I just used sticky putty to put them on so one pop and out they come. The walls too 😆 I'm the opposite of Gretchen and never put enough glue..in case I want to pull it apart. 😂 Confidence issues. Haha Thanks for all your encouragement and support! Haha, yes, Suzanne, mitre shears will change your life! In a good way! 😂 I didn't actually hurt myself but watching my filming footage made me wonder how I still have all (or any) of my fingers. Think about finger placement before clicking those shears. Having the channel helps keep me working on at least something. You can always make potatoes! 😉😍✨

Dot your hilarious , I think your shelves are great maybe thicker feet will give you the look you want, I love the finish look anyway. Hi Grace! 🤗 Oh please stay motivated! Part of my problem is I want to rush right in to the creative part and don't think, or take my time with what I call the "grunt work". That's how I ended up with weird, sloppy foam board walls that kept falling over 🤣. I'm sorry about your projects this week. Just keep swimming, as Dory says (do you know Finding Nemo?)
