I don't really cringe from seeing these small time capsules. What makes me cringe is the actual thought of the actual people depicted in these seeing this 10-15 years later. It terrifies me to actually see someone reading any comments I've ever made when I was 15 more than reading them myself. Makes me want to search every username I've ever had and wipe those accounts from the face of the earth

I think it was more fun when everyone only went online at home and not every place they go def miss the fun weirdos from before over this maybe someday it'll get back to that if we're lucky

My sister made Princess Tutu AMVs when we were kids and is no longer with us, but the videos remain. It felt very bizarre seeing those there but I want to thank the uploader for reminding me of that tenuous, but very real (to me) connection I can find there. Never thought I'd get emotional over Princess feckin Tutu, scurrying through the search list to find her old channel

Great video as always! Some suggestions for the next installment: At the very start of KZfaq there was a fad where kids made animations where they killed kids show characters like Barney, Elmo, or Caillou. They were always edgy or funny that you could think of those as the first gen of the GoAnimate videos. You can also go to literally every short video and press the "shorts remixing this video" tab, that will lead you to a lot of other deep rabbit holes Huge love from somewhere in the world!

Love your channel! some of the most deranged things I have found on youtube have involved those old skits where people just...wave their plushies at the screen. SPECIFICALLY old anime plushies, like naruto and black butler.

Videos like this that cover obscure content always inspire me to want to make something, not really for any of the media itself, but the fact someone took time to create something and share it online no matter what people think But I always get caught up in my ideas and how long they will take to make and if I’ll even finish it or not, so they just continue drifting in my brain. This time though, I want to actually do something and put it online, no matter what it is! Maybe I’ll take the soda cans around my room and make some sort of stop motion animation? Cant wait to see more of this series!

I remember my friend showing me this super creepy animation he stumbled across that i could only describe as a white dog fused with a spider in photoshop gyrating in somebody's basement with strange music in the background. last I checked (5 or so years ago) the vid has like 6 views all of which were from me and said friend.

Despite a lot of things not aging well, it really makes you look back on KZfaq from the mid to late 2000’s and even the early 2010’s to some extent and you can appreciate the realness behind everything. Nowadays videos are presented with this “perfect” filter. Especially from big named KZfaqrs with millions of subs and you can never truly see what’s behind the glass.

I've already watched this video 3 times. I love this kind of stuff and I'm going to try doing some dumpster diving today. I'm a big wrestling fan, so I'll probably start there and see the oldest stuff I find. This is an awesome idea for a series and I can't wait for more entries. My favorite is the 3D animation, it's hilarious to me. The simp war was funny too. I completely forgot "teh" was a thing. lol

Thx for the trick finding old AMVs. Still searching for the one with I Wish I had an Angel by Nightwish with scenes from the Darkstalkers Anime. My cousin showed it to me in 2008 but we never managed to find it back since then.

I remember a channel that was identical to Aternity Bell named "KoolKoala78" who I randomly stumbled across when checking out Virtue's Last Reward content. It was a fanfic RP where many characters from games or anime are trapped in that exact same Ambidex Game. The videos have the exact same style as Aternity's videos and the channel has an intro before every video gets started. KoolKoala78 makes "Escape Room" type videos with the characters she and everyone else RPing chooses where people have to survive or die. I do remember a few "The Next Model" videos with characters from other media, but her "Escape Room" videos are the more popular ones. If you like when people make up nonsense stories and throw characters in random situations like this, I'd suggest checking her out. It's a pretty chaotic ride if I do say so myself.

oh, man, this really brings me back, I know I'm not the only one here, but does anyone remeber a time mario sprite animations ruled youtube, and I'm not just talking about Mario bros Z I'm talking about like series like Mario bloopers, rise of the mushroom kingdom, that stuff, that stuff was my childhood for 2009-2012, you should make a video covering that, era of Mario's rush on early youtube, not just the sprite stuff, but the plush series, and live action series like stupid mario and Mario warefare, not a lot of people have talked about it, I think it deserves a more in-depth analysis.

For now, I love the premise of this series and hope it succeds on this channel, but there is a channel I did find out that was rather strange. Mr solar sun is a channel that I came across when desending down the pooh's adventures rabbit hole, and it does have some oddeties, to say the least, from whole ass serieses of pooh crossovers with franchise such as transformers and mlp, to seireses with the sane premise as pooh adventures but with different IPs such as the power rangers(it may be wrong, I didnt look that hard, tho there is an odd wario series), and some random shitpoast status vids. It is a fairly active account so I'm not really sure if you can tackle such channels, but here is that suggestion in the meantime.

With how much of much of the internet has become very corporate in some ways, it nice to go back to back to a time where the internet was the wild west for better or worse. In some ways you can probably find videos like this as of recent. But again these videos will be very deep into the depths of KZfaq.

I recently found a video in my recommendations from a channel named "Reno Vega". This in itself is uninteresting but the video in question was. I believe it's called "Crooked Cops Being Cowards" and he rants about how cops take away his drugs while most likely being on them. His, at this time, two most recent vids are about this but before it appears he mostly ranted about how much he hates his town, football, and giving his own very inflammatory political opinions. It's fairly odd and disturbing

Dylan, i don't know if you ever seen that but I'll try to explain, maybe you can rescue somewhere my memory Anyway, years ago in a really far away place of KZfaq I was looking for some creepypasta videos and here, I've encountered a Zalgo one, this video was about the intro of some tv show, if i remember correctly it was like Arnold or something like that, i can say this surely cuz more you watched the video and the most it will be corrupted, distorted faces, screaming in the background and stuff like these, Zalgo things after all It was a really short video and sometimes I'm trying to search again on KZfaq but never happened to encounter again in recent times so, thank you for everything and keep going with these series, amazing job!

that anime fight in the comment section is the most potent, nostalgic form of cringe I’ve ever experienced. I want to go back to when people acted like that. Now the internet is full of walking pimples who shout about fandoms they dislike for hours on end and just blurt out overused Joker/Rick and morty memes pseudo ironically but to the degree where it sorta seems like they’re closet obsessed with the IPs they consider cringe. Like the internet is full of 4channers who copy paste the same roasts over and over while not realizing they’re not actually better than those they call cringe. Even when we get to self agrandizing twitter lefties they only care for vapid drama and feeling superior to some fan community or villan of the week and their posting style is just as agonizingly patronizing as the 4channers I mentioned. Down with cringe culture in all its forms, up with weebs doing anime fights and making horrible fan edits and fanfic

It's actually from VR Chat, they have several really well made worlds from Madoka Magica in there. I recommend giving them a try if you're a fan, even if you don't have a VR Head set. (I don't lol)
