Wildwood Off Grid Alaska

Күн бұрын

We really get started on the off grid home build and start tearing down the temp roof we had built last year. Walls start to get framed and we take a quick break to catch some fish. There's a ton in this video so stick with us until the end.

A little rain 🌧 isn't going to hurt that floor it takes months to dry in a house sometimes. Depending on how big . I have framed the biggest 5600 square feet. The main A had 27 foot Douglas fir raffters had to be fir because it's stronger

I was shown many years ago to use "original Listerine" for a mosquito repellent. It has to be the original Listerine, the stuff without any flavoring that tastes horrible and smells like a medicine cabinet. We don't like putting poison on our skin like OFF. Just put it in a spray bottle and spray it on.....works great if you don't mind smelling like a medicine cabinet Cheers

Nice work. I bought one of the Milwaukee m18 framing nailers about a year ago for when in working on our rental homes or project work. I have to say it’s nice not pulling around the air hose all the time. They are a little heavier than the pneumatic nailer but a great addition to the tool supply. The Milwaukee does not have to do that ramp -up like the DeWalt does so it’s a little faster to get the first nail fired in. They are all better than smashed fingers. Lol Hope the weather cooperates and you can get things closed up. Stay safe and have a great week.

I can get behind the build, its just the damn hard determination an perseverance that wears me plumb slap out.... need some of that deep south weather to warm ya all, no rain in months.
