Excellent job - although I'd have thought that a steel plate on the heel could make for a very slippery, clanky pair of shoes. Perhaps ameliorated by the grippy cover sole.

Perhaps he's going to use them for Flamenco dancing 🙂 , especially with the extra height in the heels. Though maybe brogues aren't the best for that.activity.

I've three pairs of Barker, I find their rubber heel quarter is incredibly hard wearing.
