These conversations make me really appreciate the discipline naturally trained into me growing up in ballet. It seems rigidly structured and lacking individuality but it has been a huge benefit to my ability to set my sights on achievements as an adult.

Today, most people have no idea what discipline is. We eat what we want when we want it. We buy things we don't need with money we don't have to impress people we don't know. We demand our wants be fulfilled now instead of working and earning them.

Having a serious injury as an athlete is one of the most difficult things. Having a champion mindset like the athletes here is cricual. Thanks for sharing these inspiring stories Will :)

Discipline... This word and its meaning is so important, but they're actually neglected by a large number of people. It's sad, but it's not something impossible to change.

Don't be too afraid to make mistakes. We don't get to be so disciplined without making quite a few mistakes along the way. Be kind to yourself.

This is a great point. When I had less forgiveness for myself in the past I was more often too afraid to try, because I saw failure as a bad thing
