I just turned 50. I want to say spend time thanking the lord that he has carried me for so long, forgive and move on without holding grudges because that gives lot of peace, don't give up on your dreams yet because it ain't over till God says it's over.

greatest regret: to forgive too much for your family member from the abuse that continued into adulthood, who tried to prevent you to have your own life, isolating you from other teenagers, never been able to grow up as normal kid. In my adulthood ...after regaining memories from the worst abuse understood that my parent never cared about anybody he just hurt everyone around him he need people around him to blame from all of his suffering, not t aking responsibility and trying to fix himself, he harass people till they leave and still talk shit about them " its their fault ". 5 years ago I left and cut ties from my pedofile dad who were also physically and financially violent tried to take over my life. sometimes your parent dont deserve your time, save your life from their horror. I feel nothing for him, we are not blood relatives in my book just annoying voice in the past that I tell " shut the fuck up " so my advice: be wise who you let in your life and who you keep. Its okay to throw your parents away if they are abusive. If they are unable to forgive and learn from mistakes they gonna just use the words " sorry " to have permission to continue their abuse. they dont care about you I stopped caring about other people after this and now focusing on my own goals while being ruthless to who Im giving my time: NEVER feel sorry to have boundaries! if they get butthurt then they are likely abusers themselves remember! abusers try to break your sense of self, identity, your dreams.. people without identity, personality and resources are easier to manipulate so yes this is why its totally okay to be ruthless when you deal with people :)

To the 50 year old who’s dream is and was to become an actor… go for it you still have plenty of time. Don’t give up on your dreams. Dreams don’t die, we do. You can start off an an extra and you never know where that may take you! What’s the worst that happens, you don’t get as far as you wished to? Best of luck, Go For It, TIME IS NOT UP!

I'm a 50 year-old gay man and had this discussion with my mum, just 2 days ago. So, the advice I would give to a stranger would be, get rid of the things you do to make other people happy and focus on what makes YOU happy. That's the key to a healthy, happy life, and the only way in which you can take care of people around you. Also, have NO expectations; take things as they come, make the most of them and build on them, build on these experiences, to build a happy life.

Regret is a fantasy… in that we imagine what we could do if we could go back… but we can’t… so all that can happen from regret is rumination and punishment or projection. It IS good to remember our mistakes so that we don’t do them again! Guilt is a loving guide for protection (for ourselves and others) and growth. Shame a liar that tries to bind mistakes to our very being.

Such a great and touching video. I love the perspective of each generation. It’s awesome to see the diversity of people in your videos as well. At the end of the day, we’re all just humans and have one thing in common.. trying to navigate through life the best we can. My advice as a 23 year old who’s done tremendous amounts of self work and still trying to improve myself.. just live your life that is true to yourself. Work hard towards your dreams but take the risk once in a while, whether big or small. Your dreams could be on the other side of that risk!! And most importantly, live in the moment and present. This is a moment in your life you’ll most likely never get back, feel every emotion and thought as it crosses your mind. The present moment is the most important time of your life. Cherish the moments that happen right now. Cheers

26 here and I will scream it from the roof tops: there’s so much pressure to just “pick something” and go to college… I will always suggest looking at what could lead to a stable career and what won’t put you into massive debt. I worked my tail off in school, maintained a 4.0, presidents list, etc etc and none of that work and debt amounted to anything in that field. I burned up all my youthful, fresh out of high school energy on a program that led to nothing but debt because I felt I had to pick something i would enjoy. I went to school for graphic design and then again for teaching. I now work in insurance. It hurts knowing I wasted all that time and money and I can’t even afford the graphic design apps needed anymore

Thank you for the video, I found out that investing is not for everybody, you just need a strong stomach too see your portfolio go down. From my own point of view, you need to invest smartly if you need the good things of life. so far i've made over $255k in raw profits from just 6 months into the market from my diversified portfolio strategy and i believe anyone can do it you have the right strategy, mutual funds takes long time but investing smartly is the key for short term. Most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.

She is a popular broker you might have heard of. I can correctly say she's worth her salt as a financial advisor as her diversification skills are top notch, because i see that in her results as my portfolio grows by averages of 10 to 15% on a monthly basis, unlike i can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along, my portfolio just mirrors what she trades and not just on some particular industries of my choosing.

Great video! Makes you think about self reflect and whatever is in the past to leave it in the past. Some things can't be changed or taken back when so much time/years have passed. Important to be kind and a better person as we age. Mistakes are made even when we don't realize it was a mistake till it is too late. We also mentally stress ourselves with "should of or could of" thinking back with regrets. We are human with dealing with life as it goes with a future that is uncertain. Not everyone can achieve life goals depending on life circumstances like financial stability and opportunity. Life is tricky at times with lots of decisions. I too have made mistakes with regret but must learn to not dwell on the past and move forward however best you can. Life is short and time passes too quickly. Enjoy being alive.

Your biggest job is to eliminate all the fears you have Your hardest work is to achieve physical health , mental strength to achieve what you need. Study to acquire skills and knowledge because that are your platform for your personal freedom. That's what all these amazing people tell us in your interviews.
