Man i had to check two times if i was really on your channel my brother lol Nice to see you flying 3D helis :D I had chance to meet some good FPV pilots here in Thailand over the years and surprisingly they all have flown 3D helis in the past, some of them even have participated to international competitions :) Enjoy the rest of your week my brother and keep on enjoying the RC hobby to the fullest despite all madness going lately with that annoying global pandemic

Bro! Been a long time! Hope you are keeping really well. Yes its been a long time since i've flown helis but im really enjoying it again after many years away. Helis are the king of models, and the king of expensive haha. Thankfully these new small ones are really cheap and so capable now. Its a good time to get back into it. Im still pretty rusty but with enough time and practise i should get my confidence back :)

Nice video,I got the m2 ,looking to get the m1,these things are insanly good,I've never seen or heard a bad review on these,my favourite helicopter in my collection, omp have nailed the helicopter scene,I wish they would upscale to a 600+ size,I think my others would end up o ebay,,

Amazing. Did you see the models position all the time? The video looks like if the M1 is more than 5 meters away, you have to fly blind.
@NJ-Tech3 жыл бұрын
honestly its totally fine to see which way around the helicopter is. The camera lens makes it look smaller than it is when its further away :)

Phwoar, might be time to try getting into helis

I believe so, the receiver can understand sbus so I don't see why not.

gj. how long have you been flying 3d heli ?
@NJ-Tech3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! So I just got back into it after a break of about 6 years but I've been flying them probably off and on for about 15 years. I should be much better by now really 😄

@@NJ-Tech wow. good job man! I am still a beginner. Not easy...
@NJ-Tech3 жыл бұрын
@@43SunSon do you have accurc simulator? It will really help you learn some basic muscle memory before you try out anything new on your model, so i really recommend it! My best advice is to just keep working on your hover orientations, they are the key to everything :)
@43SunSon3 жыл бұрын
@@NJ-Tech you replied fast! yes, I do have. Right now, I can hover well if the tail faces me in 3d mode. Now, I am about 60% done with side faces me hover. After I can handle side hover 100%, I will do nose faces. Hmm.... no idea how long this will take. But I wanna do stun like you do so bad. I crashed my m1 on day one because i tried to inverted. It was a very bad crash, the whole tail was gone. omg... btw. this is my life goal. hehe, in this video, he didnt do 3d. but .... just like 3d, so awesome. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d7l0jMWQq9LRiJc.html

@@43SunSon One thing i can say will help is to lower the agility to 1 or 2 on the the flybarless controller (i actually fly with agility 2) and set your speed for elev/aiel to 3 or 4 max whilst you are learning (i fly 6). This will keep the feel of the helicopter much bigger and more controlable whilst you are learning. Also have rescue mode set up and learn to fly with your finger over that switch, then you will be able to recover easily rather than crash. When you can do something in the simulator without thinking about it much, then its time to try it on the real heli. Thats what i do every time i want to try a new manoeuvre.
