When I ran for Mills high school in Millbrae from 1964-68, we often ran on Sawyers Camp Road. Back then it was mostly gravel. Our coach also got the San Francisco Water Department to let us run on the watershed roads across San Andreas lake from Sawyers Camp Road, where the mountains separate the peninsula from the Pacific Ocean. The roads are great for running.

I ran for Carlmont 1967-71, Millbrae had some great runners back then! Love Sawyer camp rd, ran a 10 miler, out and back for time once in 53:58.

@@scottcarvey9378 Thank you, Mills had some good teams, my senior year in 1967 was our best year, but we did not have the staying power of Carlmont. I remember Chris Carey from your school. Your ten mile time is very impressive.

So exited for the new prototype version the ON professionals wear, the new cloudboom echo. It looks dope I plan buying it as a threshold and tempo shoe, and the cloudboom echo 3 for quick spesific sessions like 400, 500, 600, 1k and maybe 2k repeats on race pace Then for easy runs clpudsurfer and cloudmonster hyper (maybe for warm ups the eclipse) and then for very quick stuff not in spikes the new nike streakfly that would be my 2024 line up and Air Zoom Victory 2 for racing

What about the Cloudtri? Is that never gonna come out? Wondering what is worth waiting for, I currently dont have the echo cause i think its too narrow for me. Therefore considering the hyper but obviously its not a plated super shoes (but costs like one lol).

Would you say these are good for heel striking? Or do you recommend I switch to toe striking it’s very hard for me since my calves get tired quick. Also I’m not sure if you’ve ever tried nova blasts but if you have you can tell there is that bounce? Do you get the same from these?

Probably the cloud monster. If you are doing a lot of mileage than I would say to get the cloud monster hyper.

No, it is different in that the cloud monster hyper is not plated. It is more similar to training in a Nike invincible. But still different in that the cloud monster hyper is lighter and feels much less chunky.

I also need help on how much mileage is not enough and how much is too much. Anyways any help would be great! Best of luck in your currents seasons! :) ps. as a freshman i’d say you shouldn’t run more than 40 a week but it really depends how fit you are
