Hi Symphonic great video with the "Nioh: Tsukuyomi 100% Firearm reduction build (Way of the Wise)" truly amazing. what's your comment on my conversation with Elfen above. regarding "is it possible to go through way of nioh\wise with 100% omnyo build NOT omnyo to build up LW guage then go LW.. but really just use spells/.? oh btw.. on YOUR video around 3:59 you go on LW with hinezumi and change to the turtle.. how did you do that? haha sorry noob questions.

Thanks man! I think that if it is possible, then it would be much harder now because version 1.18 made it so that Shadowround Talisman doesn't affect onmyo shots anymore. If you want to use shots regularly, that means you'd need to have Unlimited Onmyo 5.4% on all of your equipment as well as some amount on both accessories to do so. The only build I know of that can have both 100% Recieved Firearms Damage and still have Unlimited Onmyo on everything would be worse than the build in my video, mainly because version 1.19 made it so that critical effects don't apply while in LW. The build would have less damage and survivability, and I'm not even sure if it's be worth trying lol. If you want to try the build though, it'd be 6 pieces of Tsukuyomi, 2 pieces of Hiraishi, and 1 piece of Tatenashi, using a Yasakani to bump up all the bonuses 1 piece higher. You'd want to: - Roll Recieved Firearms Damage 14.0% on head and chest - Soul match Recieved Firearms Damage 13.9% onto gloves - Roll Unlimited Onmyo 5.5% on gloves and chest - Soul match Unlimited Onmyo 5.4% onto everything else. - Have a Yasakani with Unlimited Onmyo 4.x% - Have another accessory with Recieved Firearms Damage 9.x% AND Unlimited Onmyo 4.x% I think that's the closest you can get to what my old build could do, within the current version of the game. Also to switch spirits while already in LW, just press the same thing you do to change them outside of LW (hold R1 and press L2 I think?) Hope this helps!

Yes to all of your roll/soul match questions, and oh yeah I saw that vid too. How long it lasts depends completely on the Unlimited Onmyo rng...mostly a single boss build.

I honestly have to say that I got more traffic and praise then I ever expected making Nioh content and every comment and subscription warms my heart to this day and made me want to be a maker of silly videos for a living which is what I've been going to school to learn to do better. I feel like I won't deserve all the warm wishes otherwise. Unfortunately it's been keeping me from actually making stuff which I'm ashamed of but I'm gonna try to remedy that this year. I do have plans to make a final general guide to using Onmyo as well as Ninjutsu for those newcomers to the PC version, but have been debating waiting for the PC version to actually come out to make sure they don't pull a fast one and suddenly make onmyo more or less viable in the 'Complete Edition'

that effect comes specifically from the grace of tsukiyomi set bonus, it's an end game set bonus that allows you to regenerate onmyo magic uses. You get it from ethereal gear in the last couple of difficulties.

If you look closely I had an odachi on my back during some parts of the video. Because Moonlit snow is one of my favorite moves to use in living weapon. We think alike good sir. :P

Seriously they should, I may even make a video purely for discussing this. It wouldn't even be unbalanced or anything. Even from the argument that you couldn't tame a yokai they still could design a form of guardian spirit talisman that allows you to expend living weapon to more or less create an NPC entity version of your guardian spirit that could roam around and act independently of the player.

yokai can be tamed in fact the first nue we fight is fuku's familiar (although to be fair he went berserk) besides there is also the concept of shikigami which are a trademark of the onmyodo (in the game nioh they appear as paper sprites that transform into cyclops when you come close), either way i really hope we get a summon ability in the last dlc or at least something that makes my unlimited onmyo build worth it

Yes sir, They didn't change much after I made it but just in case I made the build patch proof by basing it only off of the base workings of set bonuses instead of being some super optimized percentage based crazyness. Optimizing beyond whats given here I leave to your imagination. It does still happen to take fricken forever to fully build though. Because Team ninja is classist and hate onmyo mages.

Thanks for the comment! In order to get Ethereal gear, which is the rarity you need to get Grace set bonuses you need to be able to access high enough level content which is unlocked by owning the higher level DLCs. Typically you need to be in Way of the Wise difficulty which I think would mean you need Defiant Honor and Dragon of the North dlc story packs but I've been told you can unlock The Abyss by owning any of the DLCs and I think you can get Ethereals from The Abyss once you go deep enough. I got the season pass fairly early so it's hard for me to determine which ones you absolutely need.
