Don't buy or build a house until you know the ins and outs ... Don't assume it's like the US, because you will walk away disappointed and in disbelief. Angel shares a lot of wisdom in this video!

Great info, btw when you build a new structure, here in the USA it’s the same thing, when you meet with the builder this is where you realize the total cost of building a house. I have built two homes, so you have add sod/grass, cabinets etc home.

When I bought my house in Texas it did not come with the grass. If I wanted them to put the grass the price would have increased. I had to buy a washer, dryer etc. So that situation he is talking about it's not a Mexican situation only.

Same in Canada,when you buy a new construction home it doesn't come with grass neither.They will level the land for you and leave it grass ready.

I'm curious if the $175,000 US he spent on his house include the costs for adding the garage, window screens, A/C, kitchen, etc., or was that just for the "blocks & concrete"? Otherwise, I'm guessing he paid close to $250,000 - 300,000 US to complete it.

For Conkal, forgive my spelling, easily 175k to 250k just for house. The subdivision lots being a premium in a subdivision. Like the lot he has prob would bring 75k etc. Finish a house prob be 35k-40k. A lot of it depends on what you install. Closets can be as cheap as 2k for plastic stuff but for real wood 7k. Screens 3k etc and AC 650/room. Now kitchen cabinets I’m scared to ask. Lol

Right I know houses don't usually come with furniture lol etc . Sometimes you'll have to add some stuffs or build more to it .than sale it that's where the price comes in

Beautiful home. I was lucky to buy one that had a kitchen and closets built, but he’s right that the ACs, garage, cabinets, kitchen, curtains, fans, lights, solar panels, stair rails, etc, are all after-market things to add. This video is very realistic for investors or future homeowners. If they include anything, it’s often a simple pool because those attract buyers.

It's better to do the finishings yourself, the builder will buy the cheapest materials and install them

Not every single house because my house has cabinets in the kitchen, no closet in the bathrooms but glas doors yes briks fance around, it depends where you buying I guess, I bought 5 bedroom house with two bathrooms kitchen, dining room, and two living room for forty five thousand, five years ago now is probably sixty or more.
