I played GTA4 before discovering O&A and now playing it again is a delight whenever you hear anyone from the show.

It speaks to Opie’s lack of acting talent than anything else. What were they supposed to do, put a voice changer over him.

This is like a 30 minute encapsulation of Opie's whole career. He's not talented, interesting, or funny in the slightest, but sees that Ant is... then whines about it.

Maybe GTA VI can have a character who kills comedians' flows by putting on callers with nothing funny to say.

I doubt he made the cut. I never heard anyone interrupting the game saying "HOLD ON! HOLD ON! WE GOTTA GO TO THE PHONES."

I still play GTA4 and episodes from Liberty City often, amazing game and still hearing Patrice O’Neal is awesome too legends never die

Ironically I heard the Pisswasser commercial on O&A right after I heard it when I was playing GTA4. It was not long after I got my Sirius and was giving it a chance.

With all the actors out there that would die to have that part. Awful opie should be thanking rockstar for the part.

In fairness to Opie, he is absolutely not a "one-trick fawkin' pony."

i remember feeling weird listening to Ant talking about his role in Red Dead Redemption because Opie felt really left out. well, Lazlow always had great relations with Ant and others from the show, but Opie always wanted to ''do a movie'' or ''be in something big'' and yet it was always someone else instead of him. if im not wrong, Opie is not even in RDR at all, while Ant had all the glory.

Love how Jim and Ant just reef over Opie’s hissies with random movie talks, indirectly ridiculing the significance he’s trying to put over the bit, but also amplifying the whole failure of his “bit” attempt with the CD crap. You can also tell they are doing their best to prevent Opie from taking the whole show down with equipment moans. It’s quite beautiful to observe.

So Opie hated someone else because Opie isn't able to do different voice characters. This was a learning opportunity for the ole opster. If he only knew what he was this show would have stayed great and on the air

This is what Opie thinks is “real, honest and self deprecating” when he’d pretend that he was always as transparent as Jimmy and Ant. If THEY had been like “Opie is a one trick pony, nice job dud.” He’d refuse to come in to the show for 3 days. Watch the old videos where he was wearing a leather jacket and talking like he grew up on Hermosa Beach. He thought he was going to be an MTV VJ. But then he’d get real opportunities to branch out and he’d piss himself because he’s a talentless zero and end up half assing it or just backing out.

And I bet he the major difference between ant and the rest vs Opie was that they prepared and didn't just come in with an ego.
