I do like Orecks, I got a free Oreck made in 2009 from a family friend. It is still going strong! I agree the newer Orecks are good, but not as good as some of the old ones. Fantastic job!

Techtronic Industries is a Chinese company that bought Oreck. They are no longer American made unfortunately and the quality is not as good as a result of cost cutting. They also bought Hoover and Dirt Devil, which were once American made and better quality as well.
