I loved it during lockdown, when late night hosts really had to earn their salaries and not rely on the ego trip of audiences fluffed by warm-up comedians! I listened to some Kimmel and Colbert recently and their audiences are still full of howler monkeys! I think you have to be pretty sheltered to not either know what a keybump is or at least be able to work it out based upon the fact cocaine is mostly imbibed through insufflation. For all I know he took the hit and slipped up accidentally when he told the world, though it didn't seem like an unintentional slip. I've not heard much about him until this, but he seems like a fairly stereotypical straight edge jock, or an outright hypocrit that actually loves to party and was just throwing shade to see what he can get away with on Capitol Hill. As a reminder, that is my own baseless speculation based on zero foreknowledge, and only this one appearance, so maybe I'm dead wrong.

As someone whose viewership of Seth waned once Trump left office, I 100% agree. The jokes were right on, and not only did it feel like a strong contrast to the caliber I've observed in recent months, it kinda felt like Trump-Era "Closer Looks". I know I just complimented with a tremendous backhand, but I still very much enjoyed this week's. Have they taken on any new writers? I can't say, but the segment was well executed.
