Also of course everyone was excited when the prequels came out because the ones who grew up on the originals love Star Wars. That's who paid the ticket for their kids. The ones who grew up on the originals like myself were very disappointed. The prequels are still not that good to be honest, but they're only acceptable to us now because Disney didn't mess up the Obi-Wan series. The Obi One series is why the prequels are even being talked about.

First off I think Revenge of the sith is my all time favorite movie but I’m not saying Return of the Jedi is bad it’s just I find to like Revenge of the sith a finer movie but for Leia and Hans love story it’s a good story with better romantic scenes but I have to give it to Anakins and Padmes because without there love for each other Anakin would have not fell for the dark side but I think the love story of Han and Leia is better for the scenes but overall Revenge of the Sith beats Return of the Jedi and the nostalgia does go to the originals( btw no hate on u just saying my opinion).

The Palpatine reveal in Rots is a lot more unknown also birth of Luke and Leia is more unknown, and how all the jedi died (order 66). All plot twists. Anakin turning to the darkside alllll plot twists.

There is just no way possible that you genuinely think that Padme and Anakin have a better love story than Han and Leia. Anakins and Padmes relationship is so cringe and the dialogue between is by far the worst in the entire Star Wars Saga. Harrison and Carrie had an amazing chemistry, Natalie and Hayden Chemistry felt like a Twilight-Knockoff.

@@rpswedits There could be the most perfect, cutest and most incredible love story ever on paper, but if the dialogue is bad, the love story is too. On paper it sounds amazing that a slave/the chosen one falls in love with a senator and they basically "fight" on two different fronts in an intergalatical war and have to hide their love. Padme on the political and anakin on the war front. But it is just executed so bad. Leia fell in love with Han because of his good/bad personality and han fell in love with her because of her "fighter" personality and its perfectly executed. Their romance in ESB is better than Anakins and Padmes relationship in all the Prequels+Clone Wars.

Leia kissed Luke because she wanted to make Han jealous because he was a jerk to her. The scene where Leia tells Han that she loves him and he replies with "i know" alone has more organic character dynamic than all the Prequel movies combined. Due to Haydens poor acting in AOC and ROTS (which is also because of George's horrific dialogue) their romance feels very unnatural. On paper the romance between Padme and Anakin sounds better imo but as much as I adore him, George Lucas just doesn't know how to put paper and sentences on the big screen.

All depends on who you talk to also the negative impact by the “fans” that drove George to sell it not right away of course but it made him not want to make SW anymore. As for Nostalgia it’s about the same to be honest younger group who grew up in prequels post memes and just talk about the duels and what not though the sequels where pure built on nostalgia for the OGs so yeah

Love story goes to Han and Leia. The prequels put way too much weight on Anakin and Padmè, while Han and Leia just figured it out through 3 movies.

I think that plot twist and plot better in Prequels. Man, Palpatine tricked entire Galaxy, leaded both sides, created army to destroy the Jedi and seduced the best Jedi to his side. Even if we already know that evil would win this is brilliant
