We were crazy about this LA garage band in the 1960's. Their album Da Capo is stellar. Kind of psychedelic/rock/jazz. The B side of the album is an 18 minute continuous jam called Revelation. I remember Love performing it in our high school gymnasium one afternoon! I still don't know why they performed there. It was a total shocking surprise! Arthur Lee was awesome. Used to see their van around North Hollywood and over 30 years later I would see this guy with "7 & 7 Is" on his car's license plate. Finally shouted to him about it being a song by Love and he beamed back a big smile and said "very perceptive of you"! Don't know which band member it was. Still have a Da Capo CD in my car! I still love Love.

Great LA band. They have one of the all time best albums ever called Forever Changes.

This from '66. Love was an L.A. band. Very popular locally and in England. One of the first racially diverse bands. Arthur Lee was ahead of his time.
