You know what? It’s one thing to joke about it every now and then but to constantly run down Verstappen and to actively fight against him is starting to wear on me. I appreciate the fact that Verstappen is making history and to actively cheer against him and to yell ‘noooo!’ When Max does something good like (oh no!) ‘winninng’ as if winning isn’t the GOAL…honestly, your act is starting to get old. I appreciate everyone..it doesn’t matter who they are, they’re all doing their best. Thinking of unsubbing. It’s just so old.

People, myself included, seem to forget that Max did exactly 0 laps in FP1. That dude just came straight into qualifying without any practice runs and puts the car on pole, 0.820 s clear of the rest, and even 0.877 s clear of his teammate, who even had a better track to set his time.

i mean, mazespin could beat perez at the moment. and Max almost bottles in in q2. he had like 23 laps overall. not exactly racing with no knowledge.

Perez was soo good again ate the start of campaign since car didn't had the current development parts which bends more towards max style which is a bizarre style yet fastest and hard to master

That's what simulators are for. That's why needing 3 practice sessions isn't really necessary anymore. The biggest unknown is tyre deg.

Max has already won races from 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, 9th, 10th, and 14th. On Sunday, he could add 6th to that list as well. He just needs to win from 5th and 8th after that to have won from every position in the top 10.

If Ocon didn’t crash he probably would’ve knocked out Verstappen in Q2. Would’ve been interesting but as you said, Max won from P16 last year and would probably just do that again.

Charles will only start on pole, but he isn't the official pole winner. Max was handed the pole award for Spa, did all the official pole interviews, etc. His gearbox deduction doesn't change his official standing as the actual pole winner.

Hey guys I love the channel and watch all your videos straight after I've seen each F1 event! I'm also from Australia and try to watch the race as soon as I wake up but sometimes can't. I was just wondering if it'd be possible in future videos to not have banners that spoil the outcomes of quali/the race on the thumbnail just cause I hadn't finished q3 and opened KZfaq to the results right there. 12:30 Ferrari and Redbull just were not pushing to the limit in Q2, and 30 seconds makes a crazy difference on such a rapidly drying track. Piastri got a great laptime and beat his teammate by 4 tenths. That's a stunning Quali performance from a rookie, topping Q2 and beating his teammate in Q3.

Nope, Max was handed the pole award. Charles doesn't even have a asterisk, he qualified 2nd, but will be starting in pole. All the official documentation will show Max as the pole winner.

If we ignore Max Verstappen in Q3 doing Max Verstappen things, it was a brilliant qualifying. We were so, so close to actually seeing some overtakes on Sunday with Max potentially starting P16. Instead, Max will probably be P1 by the end of the Kemmel straight

That alone highlights the problem with Formula 1. The gaps are so big that it leads to races where almost nothing happens. This is why many fans - and even some drivers - are now saying it should be a spec series. (Whether they're joking or not. If it's the former... then that just proves the problem.)

@@andrewa9700 Yeah. At this point, its only factors outside his control that can keep him from winning every race. So considering that, if he had a clean race, he would surely win from any position rn, but starting with so many cars around you can put you in jeopardy like the alpines have experienced unlike starting at the front where you have a mostly lonely race.

Leclerc pole down to P8 within the first five laps!. Which means max will be in the lead by the end of lap five. He’ll then be 40seconds ahead of second by lap 26!.

I think Lando is the most overrated driver on the grid. He’s getting matched by his teammate 😂 in his rookie season and was only ahead because of strategy luck. Piastri just better 😅

I think the mclarens are running more rear wing than most of the other cars quick sector 2 but s1 and s3 with the long straights they just arent slippery enough.

Why don’t they make the sprint mini qualy and race on a Friday with separate parc ferme to the race so the teams can do 2 separate setups and strategies? Might give the lower teams a chance to try something experimental for the sprint.

As the only person in the world who's team Tsunoda vs Danny Ric, I'm fairly happy. Perez is gonna break Matts heart so bad. Lap 11 for Max to get the lead, that RB is still a rocket ship but a tiny bit less than at the start of the season.
