Hey RitasEastas! I just decided to hop on and show y'all how I make my simple roasted corn on the cob. This is a great side dish that goes with almost anything. I hope you'll find this a good one to add to your recipe book. Enjoy💋
Here's what you'll need:
Fresh corn on the cob (husk and silk removed and cleaned) you can also do this on thawed frozen corn on the cob
Softened butter
Minced garlic
Seasonings of choice to make butter spread
Paprika for topping
Cook on 425 for 25 to 35mins.

I will never make corn on the cob any other way! My father finished cancer treatment a month ago. It is hard to find anything he can.even taste, but he is crazy about this corn. I have made it evey night since the 1st time I made it. I am out of corn and had to stop. Going back to the store for more corn on the cob tomorrow. Thank you very much. Any more dishes for cancer patients would be appreciated. I am sure. He would only eat chicken noodle soup. Thank you very much for your wonderful dishes.

Thanks @Jarrica. That's what food and health is all about. Grownups know to do what they should do for their individual taste and health. This is not a nutritional channel, and I never said it was. Your health is your responsibility, not mine. Every recipe can be done to fit every need.

Rita, this recipe has my coworkers harassing me on a daily basis for more corn! I made this for a work pot luck months ago and have not heard the end of it. I shared your video with them but (of course) they say it's better when I make it. Thank you for this Amazing recipe, but I think it needs to come with a warning, because the people you make this for may never leave you alone again! 🤣🤣

Want it faster with ALL the flavor?! Get the pre-shucked corn from the produce section, season as you’d like and then wrap in foil and place on a baking sheet on 450 for 10-15 mins PERFECTO🤤

Looks good. Flip your foil to the other side where you get more heat. There's a shiny side in a dull side. It should be placed on a dull side

That's the only way I do my corn on cob...in the oven with butter. Then I salt and pepper it and season with Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning.

We don’t eat a lot of corn in Australia and I never even knew you could bake it lol I’ve always boiled my corn.. glad I discovered you! Your recipe is wonderful--I roasted mine using indirect heat on the grill because it's summer now and the oven makes the house hotter lolol. I lived in Morocco and at the right time of year any cornfield that you drive by and there are hundreds and maybe thousands of them. You will find a young male roasting the corn over coals. I used to get four at a time and they were unbelievably good! :-)

I know this video was sometime ago, but I just love your personality and cooking knowledge of how you did that corn. When I saw the thumbnail for this video. Rita, I fixed this last night and I must say this was fantastic! I had purchased Cobs about 3 weeks ago and I have shucked and froze the corn in vacuum seal bags. Pulled a couple out of the freezer and fixed the butter.....wrapped and put in the oven (300 degrees for 1 hour) and OMG how wonderful the taste was. This is a keeper! I'm going to cook this for my daughter and son-in-law this week-end! I went to Wal-mart and got the Usual....WOW! Thanks again
