The Howdens door handle as a ballustrade rail in your overhead fridge tambour cabinet ...what a cool idea !!

The back panel on the door overshot cabinet ... If you had made it a tiny bit longer and radiussed it, you could have had no joint in your edging strip. Also less painful if you bang your head !

Well I never, I’ve installed loads of those panels but never knew about the screw, and as a result suffered from floppy panel.

I cant believe I never saw it when I unpacked the panel , after suffering floppy panel syndrome, thought, nah! that cant be right......

Great build, lots of info. Where did the black and white faced dial gauges come from?

THey came from Amazon, just search 'Water Level Gauge, 52mm' be sure the OHM on the guage and sensor are the same. KUS is the main brand name item but Amazon have cheaper options aswell. I went for he cheaper ones which are just fine.

May I just say what a really nice job you have made of the cupboards, they look very professional, well done. I will have my kitchen work top extending to half way across the side door opening but never thought of making the cupboard to suit, so if you don't mind I shall steal your idea, also, I like the round clocks arrangement, where did you get those?

Thank you for your kind words. THe meters came from Amazon, just search 'analogue water level meter', may I direct you to the youtube channel called 'vantourist' and look for his water level meter video as that is where the inspiration came from and he should get the credit and does a great job of explaining how it works and what to do.

Did that last cupboard affect your head clearance getting in and out of the van? In my Roadtrek there is a small padded strip to help with the head banging.

No, I was careful to ensure it was not too deep for that reason, and rally the cupboard is useless apart from celery storage, but it is better than just empty space.

all the aluminium used on the cabinet build came from Morland. google morland furniture board and you will find them.

How many expensive plywood did you use for your build? 2? 5?

@@theoteam4641 I said right from the start, and this is just my personal pref and everybody is different, which is good, but I think cladding makes it look like a shed on wheels which was not the look I wanted, so yes they are horribly expensive but I'm happy with the finish. How are you doing yours?

@@wiltshirecustomcamper7203 mine is cladded with UPVC and it works great, but I’ll use the solway panels for the Ducato on the next build after we buy one lol. We have iveco daily and I don’t think that solway do panels for that yet .

what size ikia doors did you buy

various size. choose correct size for your application. only thing to consider is the orientation of the hinges. e.g. a 40x60 is not the same as a 60x40 if you see what i mean.
