P1450 Code Ford F150 3.5L - EVAP Canister Purge Valve - True Solution - Save Time!!

Жыл бұрынAfter spending hours going back and forth to auto parts stores and trying to figure out the correct part for the P1450 code on my 2015 F150, I was able to get the correct part from the Ford dealership.
The fix only takes about 15 minutes or less, but there is much conflicting information on KZfaq concerning which part to get. I have a 3.5L Ecoboost, and the commonly referred part PV637 DID NOT work on my truck.
The part number from the Ford dealership is BL3Z 9B325 C
Once I installed this part and drove a little while, the check engine light cleared. Hope this helps. Please post questions below

Curious but did you have more evap system errors since this instance? I have P144C code that is driving my dealer crazy trying to fix it.

My 2016 f150 2.7l’s cap less fuel tank is farting . It’s throwing a p1450 code with the engine light on. Would replacing the purge valve resolve the issue ?

I can't say for sure for your particular vehicle, but I know that once I did it cleared the check engine light and code for me

Trying to find that part number for my 2016 ford f150 5.0, but nothing coming up for it would you think that same number would work for me

I'm not sure if it would work on the 5.0 - I'd reach out to a local dealer or auto part store and see if there is a compatible part. The 5.0 may need one of the first two parts that I incorrectly received

How much did the park cost more or less. Dealer wants to charge me $250

At the time I think it was close to $150. Not sure of the price now.
