Herringbone: A pattern made up of rows of parallel lines which in any two adjacent rows slope in opposite directions (Source: www.merriam-webster.com/dicti...)
Herring is a type of fish and the pattern refers to the manner in which the bones are present in them. Herringbone style is commonly seen in textiles (stitch or weave) & wood or tile flooring arrangements.

• CLAY I USE: Laguna red low fire earthen ware clay without grog. (EM106 or EM334 wards)
• Firing (Bisque) at cone 06. (I don't own a kiln, so I take my pieces to a pottery studio close by and get it fired in an electric kiln there)
• Wire used: Nichrome wire gauge 28 for stick beads and ghungroo beads; gauge 26 for earrings and 24 for pendants.

Thank you so much! So glad you liked the sets. Usually for smaller sets I keep it at 30 inches and longer sets at 39 inches. That way the person wearing it has the flexibility to adjust the length to as much as they need. For ready made cords such the the hot pink one used here, it's meant to be worn only at a specific length. For the beaded set, which is also suppose to be worn as a necklace has a cord length of around 30 inches. Please consider the knots, coz they will shorten the cord length further.

Thank you so much!! Acrylics dry pretty quickly. Within a few minutes it dries up. But there is an overall moistness to the piece so I leave it for a few hours to be on the safer side. You could also do it the previous evening, let it dry overnight and varnish the next day.
