I'm 75 and have started doing these exercises. I worked parallel bars in high school (50+ years ago) and it was easy then. Have mainly used weightlifting since then. WEIGHTLIFTING SUCKS. You won't realize how many muscles weightlifting MISSES until you start doing some gymnastics work like this. All those squats I used to do MEANT NOTHING when I started running and biking. It was as if I had never exercised my legs at all.

23 and started off and on training around late HS, you’re absolutely right about weightlifting sucking. I prefer gym rings, resistance bands, and parallel bar work. It’s all I’ll ever need along with mix of jumprope, running, walking, rucking, and my favorite: sprinting.

Daniel Cuahuey no thats wrong. You cant start on any apparatus you want just because you feel like it. You need to build the prerequisite strength

Hi,any chance do you know or can u give me the Info measurement of the Steel Triangle metal Brackets support of ur parallettes. I'm looking to make my own :) all i have to do is look for someone who can do the welding for me and I'm good to go. tell me pls the Dimensions how long are the Steel Triangle Brackets, on top of the triangle u are using a Half moon steel so the wood can seat on it or i can just go Full Moon have the wood go through the O Steel Ring, whats the height of ur parallettes

Google "Valkyrie Parallel Bars" for EXCELLENT Parallel bars. Just got mine through the post and they are by far the best. A little bit expensive but well worth it.
