In this Training Tutorial I share some of the Best Beginner Exercises on the Parallettes, an excellent tool to train Core and Upper Body and all sorts of other Calisthenics.

Did these on a big set of pvc pipe paralletes I made on my own. I did all the exercises (what ever I was able to do) one after the other like you did and I'm covered in sweat... One great workout and nice progressions, I can feel the strength building

Mani, you should do the close grip push up in a more hollowed positiong. It helps do much to stabilize the movement.

Tucked hold is actually difficult for me but all the L sit exercises came to me within a week

You can put the parallettes on a tablet and your feet on a Chair to do good dips. Also you can take 2 chairs and put the parallettes between them for dips

Push ups: standard, deep (hands by obliques) , close grip Dips Shoulder press (tucked butt, lift feet off at lowest point) The crow L-sit: tucked, one-legged, straddle, basic, elevated Shoulder holds: Tucked planche, shoulder press hold, hand stand leg hold Transitions: Knees to chest, tucked hold to L-sit, tucked hold to tucked planche, , L-sit to tucked planche

Hi. Thanks for your video. I have been trying to understand what sort of parallette bars I should buy. I am just going to get started so wanted to discover what I need. It seems that higher bars are used most often and that it is handy to have a lower set. I also appreciated your set of exercises as a guide to getting started, which exercises I can try and potential progressions. Are there stretching / flexibility exercises to build in?

Even these say "difficulty easy to hard" for some of the exercises but the tucked l sit dont look easy when not many train in calisthenics training. Strength conditioning is important AA well in this training.

Hey Mani, deine Videos sind echt klasse! Ich habe auch vor 3 Monaten angefangen zu bouldern und wollte dich fragen, wie ich mein Training abseits von der Boulderhalle gestalten könnte. Vorher war ich eher der typische ‚Pumper‘ im Fitnessstudio. Zusätzlich bin ich ca. 1.90m groß und wiege aktuell 92 Kilo bei einem KFA von ca 15%. Daher habe ich die Ernährung schon angepasst und gehe aktuell 2 mal die Woche 2-3h in die Boulderhalle. Jedoch frage ich mich wie ich 4 mal die Woche Sport machen kann, auch Körpertaining abseits vom Stumpen Hantelstemmen? Würdest du mir Calisthenics/Stability Übungen für Zuhause empfehlen? Bzw wie würdest du das Training ansonsten gestalten? Wünsche dir noch einen schönen Abend!

what is your opinion on the ab wheel as a core exercise? Is it as useful as L-sit progressions?

For sure a powerful device. You see there are so many possibilities to train abs.. just pick one and just do something, don't overcomplicate things and you will run around with a six pack in no time.

From your elbow to the tip of your middle finger is the standard width, as far as I know.
