This is confusing as hell. I'm a casual listener and don't have the window up while I work so when it randomly cuts to the next vid in the middle of the story, It throws me off from the next in qeueu and I have to scramble to figure out what I missed.

Simple, set up a fund for your niece that she can access once she reaches 18. Only you have access to it until then. Your protecting your nieces future while ensuring nothing goes to your entitled parents and sister. Tell your sister you will only help if they end up homeless, but you will not just throw money at them.

I don't know about that. He's got contacts, he could certainly help the sister get her foot in the door for a job or 2 at least, even if it's just low level stuff due to lack of relevant qualifications in his field of work - he should be trying to build his relationship with his sister ASAP to blunt the worst of the parents influence and steer her away from their poisonous ways of thinking. Beyond that - this talk of OP mentoring his niece is just...... suspicious at best, especially when combined with the offer of monetary help for her future, which makes it sound like a quid quo pro agreement to spend time with her that would be in jeopardy if the sister suddenly had 2nd thoughts about the mentorship. By all means suggest that the niece spend time with his apparently very successful wife for the same mentorship reasons, and through the wife he can give his own input 2nd hand. But by no means should the niece be spending any significant time alone with him. That does NOT sound OK at all to me, no matter how he expresses his better nature in the story - often people can think that they are the hero even as they are doing great harm to people around them. Even for me as a guy who thinks modern feminism has gone too far - basically labelling all men as creeps - it sounds suspect at best for an older male relative to pursue spending time alone with a younger female relative that is not their own daughter. For him to even suggest this despite claiming to be so smart feels EXTREMELY suspect.

@@mnomadvfx the channel owner doesnt make any effort to check the structure and writing of the videos, he just lets the AI do the work and uploads it, its probably why these videos have the same voice and are just generic reddit stories with the same minecraft gameplay every other reddit channel uses.

Story 1 OP: my brother was the golden child but he was more of a parent to me than my neglectful parents. He died young. Then i went out of state and got a glowup and was surprised pikachu when i didn't get all the attention at my sister's wedding. But when she got divorced and my family asked for some help i decided SHE was the golden child and I the neglected one.

Same. It's borderline causing motion sickness for me, and my stomach is usually rock solid for that stuff. Even just a basic dynamic screensaver or music visualizer background would be far superior to this.

You can tell this is written by AI because nobody talks like this. But I like picking up on the consistency issues. Wife is 40, been married 20 years, she got married at 20. Yet, his sister married too young at 19?

Probably the first channel I’m going to mark as “do not recommend” parts of the story always loop and half the time there is no update even after the narrator says there is. If anyone is reading this just start recommending these stories to the channel Lost Genres, he puts actual effort into his videos

Unfortunately it's hard to find channels that just tell the story without adding unnecessary commentary. Shit's so annoying. There will be a tragic story and narrator will go "wow op you are not the ah. it's so sad what happened to you, your family had no right to yada yada" for a few minutes, stating the complete obvious or giving boring opinions nobody asked for. If anyone can recommend channels with no commentary I'd appreciate it, otherwise I prefer automatic voices.

This has to be fake, because I do not believe him saying "Oh, this is tough should I help out or not?"....Like NO! Did they help you out? Were you not treated like you were a burden? Nonexistent unless it was time for them to get their jollies off by making someone else feel like crap? Why do people in these situation always try to make it seem like its some moral dilemma in how they should react to people who've treated them like crap for years? Just say no. They made their bed, they can lay in it. They've been dead to you for years, if you need to put it in simple terms. For all that people in stories like these talk about how they've grown, and become self-reliant and resilient and other bs like that. It all boils down to and sounds like they haven't really grown and are still those same little kids begging and scrapping for that affection and attention their parents didn't give them. I really don't get it. Cut them off and focus on your own family, the one you made and the ones that actually love you. Leave those a-holes to rot.

Whoever you have editing these vids, find someone better. This is beyond frustrating! Especially if your casually listening and then it skips to the next vid after cutting off. It's not funny

The parents probably thought if they manipulated him to help his sister they could manipulate him to help them. In the second story if people want to claim you have a drinking problem I would tell them to claim responsibility that it's because of their controlling nature that's causing it. This said comments before the update but the video ends at the comment so where is the update or are you just misleading people again.
