Ingredients
Pasta(dried, farfelle) - 1cup
Butter - 1½tbsp
Flour(maida) - 1½tbsp
Garlic Clove(sliced) - 1no
Milk(room temp) - 300ml/ 1⅓cup
Salt - to taste
Oil - 2tbsp
Cheese (grated) - ½ cup
Italian Seasoning - a generous pinch
Pepper Powder - a pinch
Basil sprig - for garnish

Chef.. I had a query.. I got encountered with another videos of pasta making where while boiling the pasta the video informed that because of water and oil don't mix up together, it's a myth of drizzling a dash of oil into the water resulting in not affecting the pasta at all.. @kunalkapur Request you to help with the query..

ofcourse they dont mix together but oil certainly coats on to the pasta and hence it is added, A light coat helps to keep the pasta separate and not too sticky.

Thanks for this recipe Chef. I just have one question - in the video that you have shared earlier for white sauce and cheese sauce, you have added onion, clove and bay leaf while boiling the milk; but you didn't do it here - so is there any specific reason for that? I have tried your white sauce recipe and it turned out well so curious to know.
