I was so close to leaving half way through the video. I had clicked away, but the last line I heard led me to believe that Woolie and Liam were about to say something funny, since they were making fun of Pat at that point, so I clicked back and listened to the rest of the video. You know, when I first listened to this, I was super invested in Pat's weird DBZ fanfic, and didn't suspect a GODDAMN THING until "Gohan's portrayal as like a 6-year-old kid with a star on his shirt." It was at that point that I, having literally JUST watched all of SU, lost my fucking shit. Seriously the greatest bait I have ever had the pleasure of choking on. I've never been worked harder. Listening to this again now that Rebecca Sugar's DBZ Fanfiction has ended. Pat's swerve at the end is what got me to watch the show in the first place. All in all, I really enjoyed it.

Honestly this is the moment that made me fall in love with the SBFC. I'd been casually listening to the Podcast in reverse order (starting at the episode called ALL THE WARRIORS [unsure of the exact episode number, too lazy to check]) while working at a garden centre over the summer. I was on my own sweeping flower petals and giggling to myself at the idea of Pat reading DBZ fanfic, but marked the fuuck out when he dropped the bomb.

This was actually what finally convinced me to watch the show :P

I was trying to fall asleep to this, but I was totally getting invested in the story and it was making me want to watch dragon ball z again, and right when Pat said "Rebecca Sugar" my eyes shot open.

When I first listened to this I didn't realize what Pat was talking about until he mentioned the Car Wash. I had only recently watched Steven Universe so it was still fresh in my mind, and that was the first thing I thought when he said "car wash."
