@@arln1966 , no, he's more evil than that. He was the one who came up with the idea of Penny proposing to him in the first place. That stunt was Leonard hoping he could get Penny to propose to him again...which she fell for, hook, line, & sinker. Leonard's like a poker player who's just figured out that another player's on to his tell, so he flashes his tell (the "propose face") hoping to catch the other party off balance. And it worked brilliantly. He played her.

As a couple, it is a toss-up between Amy & Sheldon or Penny, and Leonard. But as individuals with the guys for me, it's Leonard, Steward, Raj, Sheldon, and then Howard. If we take Bert in consideration, Howard moves back a spot. With the ladies, it's Amy, Penny, Bernadette, and all the weird girlfriends the guys had. 😊

By Season 7 the show itself was getting tiresome!

@@wuxin5847 Look at the ratings, mate! from season 7 the ratings dropped everywhere (especially on IMDB it dropped below 8 and kept falling). The show was my favourite since the beginning and I still love the initial seasons but after a point of time, it just became too romantic relationship oriented - becoming yet another Friends style sitcom instead of the brilliant concept it had at the outset. So, no - not just my problem but seems to be a pretty widely accepted opinion about the show!

Blame the writers for it. They had a LOT of potential, but Chuck Lorre is an idiot, and hires stupid writers. The problem is that Chuck Lorre doesn’t know how to write men, women, love, and relationships. He thinks making seemingly pathetic men, and hot bitchy women be together is somehow funny. The last four seasons are shit because they had TAAHM humor; Leonard and Penny became like Alan and Lyndsey, which is what RUINED the pairing.
