The plaintiff and defendant purchased a racecar together so they could share and race it. The plaintiff says they bought parts for the car, but then the defendant took it over completely. He claims the defendant won’t pay for the work he put in, so he’s suing for his portion of the car and parts. The defendant argues the plaintiff backed out of the deal and started threatening her. She’s countersuing for storage fees

every time she mentioned her kids witnessing something i got annoyed. Because they're only even there cuz of you babe- If your kids are being that traumatized, maybe wait till they're older than six. Or just don't turn around and complain about them witnessing stuff you're putting them in a position to witness

That was exactly what I came to the comments to say. She keeps emphasizing her kids witnessing what is going on, well, whose decision is it for the kids to be participating in the activities, and all up into where the adults are interacting? That's on mom and dad!

Came here to say the same. I personally wouldn't have my kids race/I wouldn't race and have the risk of my kids not having their mom, but that's personal choice. She can't have it both ways, brag about her kids being in racing so young and in the next breath say they were "traumatized" by an argument and seeing injuries? That's what happens at races. It's not a child friendly environment.

They just need to sell it all to a third party and cut whatever losses they might have. JM gave crap advice. Neither party can expect to walk away unscathed it's just part of the break up so to speak. They are equally responsible in every regard despite what the defence counsel (oops judge) would like to morally add in. The defendant should just make an offer and race the car before the co-owner gets to cash in on any success she has behind the wheel or worse race it himself and incur costs to her. I would rather just sign off on donating my share to him and starting fresh. The future litigation JM mentioned will all be influenced by this arbitration and for better or worse until someone buys out bows out they will share it all.

so um , this young man tells this pretty young woman that he wants to help build a car that SHE ONLY WILL DRIVE and i am supposed to believe that he was not interested in her for more than just a friend with no benefits ? could it be that once he realized that they were not gonna get together , in a more than friends relationship , then he wanted his money back ? isnt that always the reason one of the opposite sex wants their money back ?

This is a clip with NO CONTEXT! This man IS HER FATHER and was never around. This day in court was the first day she even met him or even heard his voice. He’s crying about a dna test he didn’t get and being homeless from being on child support in this clip. But he was not there for her. She never met him before this and the dna test did prove her to be his daughter. I can’t stand when people do this

Nah man it’s a contracts case, and JM response was perfectly reasonable by way of the law. *He* bailed on their agreement, and then tried to strong arm his business partner into something that was never factored into the original deal. There was never a buyout contingency, so legally JM can’t force her to do it. The guy really shot himself in the foot by demanding she give him the money right then and there…..and then threatening to dismantle the car if she didn’t. Had the dude been patient, the lady would’ve paid for a buyout… but he screwed himself. 🤷‍♀️

@@ralexandra1058 the way I see it if she agreed to pay the 4000 he should have been more patient but JM should have made the judgement on that agreement alone. She's talking about a bunch of shit that has zip to do with the case. We dont care about your family drama and your back and forth with wanting to keep your kids safe but letting them race... Bla bla bla... Too much bullshit emotional girly shit that annoyed me. Yes they got the car together, yes he backed out. Then she agreed to buy him out and made 500 excuses, yes he shouldn't have acted like a douche but she is not right either

She’s one of those selfish, “my kids” or my “husband” people. He should have known by looking at her that none of this was a good idea, she just looks like the “wrong” person. He’ll get it over her dead body, at that point he can cease and sell it, then settle with her kids and husband.

Did she mean that she’s not racing because she’s a mom and she didn’t want to put herself in danger of orphaning her children? Or did she mean she’s not racing because she’s a mom and feels the need to spend her time supporting them in their endeavors rather than chase her own dreams? I honestly took it the second way until I started reading comments here. I agree that if it’s traumatizing then that sport isn’t for them. But I don’t agree that she’s a bad mother because she allows her children to follow in their family’s footsteps and race. There is danger is all sports and activities. Racing, horseback riding, basketball, gymnastics… the list has no end. No one can live in a bubble.

Now I’m curious as far as one party state to party state is that for the state that you live in the state that you’re currently in? Which state are we talking about if you live in one state and you’re let’s say you’re in Colorado that’s where you live, but you’re currently in Virginia, does it go with Virginia state law or does it go with the state that you live in? How did they do that one?

Oh lord, god forbid your children witness a fight….at a race track… Somebody go Google race track audience and count how many shirtless men drinking kegs of beer doing hand stands you count…. Better yet, somebody tell this woman google exists and the internet has a shit ton more fist fights then whatever they might have glanced at…. But again, those poor children being exposed to a slap fest with guys in skin tight jump suits, the horror…..

I’m poor and spend money foolishly, that’s what I hear. Racin cars is not a poor man’s sport. You can have a career in racing. She is a bit irresponsible putting such young kids in cars. They both had unrealistic expectations. It must be I want what I want without much thought. She keeps saying MY children, my children but that is not who she is thinking about. That’s what you get when you have no well thought out plan.
