4 жыл бұрын

In today's episode, Peter returns to talking after a nine-month hiatus. With a new format (and an incredible hour-long view of his double chin), there are a couple of moments where we experience Peter playing with fire; he gets dangerously close to creating actual content a couple of times. He talks about this, he talks about that, and he samples some weird and overpriced beverages from the local grocery store.

I've never heard anyone else mention "strange featureless days" and it gives me comfort to find someone else who notices those days and finds them strange. I personally find them unsettling as well as strange, as my mind starts freaking out at the lack of sensations, wondering if maybe my skin has somehow broken and can therefore not feel anything. My favorite days are rainy days because of this reason. Not because I like walking around in soggy clothes and sloshing away in my shoes, but because there is an abundance of sensations to enjoy. Anyway, thank you.

Get a pack of crescent rolls from Pillsbury. partially slit a hotdog lengthwise but not all the way through or to the ends. Put a cheese of your choice in the slot. Roll the hotdog/cheesedog up in the "blanket" from wide end to short end. Put into a baking sheet or pan. Bake in oven at the temp listed on the pkg for crescent rolls. For extra hot dogs, make a sort of Spiral cut in the dog. As it plumps while it cooks it gets really pretty. Enjoy your cheese pigs in blankets!!

You know, the sheer genius behind having a "content-free" podcast is that there's no continuity between the episodes and nothing to begin or continue. So whether you make one every week, every month, or every half-year, it doesn't matter. People can just go back and listen to/watch the previous episodes and be every bit as satisfied every single time. Likewise, there's no need for a particular medium in the podcast. Drawings are cool to watch, but because it's content-free, there's no need to keep the drawings in them! Peter is a true visionary and a pioneer of the future of podcasts.

Congratulations on the new car! You deserve it. You’ve put a lot of work into sharing your art/music/culinary skills over the years and for that...we thank you. I’ve said this before but I remember early on when you were so shy. I don’t know how you even got on camera shy, or is it awkward. I don’t want to pretend to know you it’s just what I’ve thought I’ve observed. One more thought: I don’t think I’ve ever heard you say “like” or “subscribe” which I always thought was pretty cool. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. Oh, and I hope school is going well. So two more thoughts, sorry I lied. Long time fan, first time caller. Hehe.

Hi Peter, I am a time traveler fixing my past watching your videos now to be able to understand the then. I really enjoy listening to you, because I notice how much you think about your surrounding and how you perceive it. Creativity comes from these sensitive antennas, so better not risk it with burn out. Other than that I have a good idea for your breakfast: What you need is vitamins, a bit sugar, and energy. I always eat a fruit bowl made from diced pineapple, kiwi, grapefruit, banana and watermelon. Berries and crushed walnut on top. Goes very well with a medium sized plain butter croissant ( you can have with butter if you wish), and a fresh orange juice from happy oranges. Why? Because you MUST. You can eat healthy and it even tastes fantastic. Especially the grapefruit is making it refreshing bitter and surprisingly colorful. But the best is, that you can take your happy croissant and the bowl to the table, watch out of your window and add color to a grey, rainy or foggy day.

As a fellow culture bereft coffee lover, my suggestion would be to try it black on ice via straw. Like a full 20 oz container filled with ice, then hot coffee straight in. I could never taste the difference in the various coffee types until I started drinking it iced and black. It's definitely one of my favorite ways to drink it now, very easy to consume irresponsible quantities in record times.

Miss you on Twitch. I suggest a phalaenopsis orchid. They're easy to care for. I only water mine once every week or two, add a little orchid miracle grow added to the water once every month or two and they're happy. Once they're settled in the gorgeous blooms lasts for months. Interesting. I just had a thick pork chop with mashed potatoes and gravy...and Dave's Killer Bread, the yellow package one, is my favorite sliced bread. Blackberries are black when ripe, raspberries are red and not as juicy or juice filled. Blackberries get a lot bigger than raspberries too. OMG Peter. Big Island is awesome, you should visit. It's the least developed of the Islands and my current favorite. I'm visiting Kauai next and I have a feeling it will be my favorite because it's very lush with vegetation...but Big Island really is great. Cascara is the cherry or fruit of the coffee. Spirulina is algae, I think. I love the matcha tea I drink. Ocha & Co. Japanese Kyoto Uji Matcha Green Tea Powder, from Japan. Wait, why Lynda when there's Skillshare? Yes, this new format is great. Since you said it’s okay to make a recommendation...I think you might like the Creative Pep Talk podcast. In it Andy Miller talks a lot about how to have a successful creative or artistic business while maintaining your creative joy and integrity. And he’s funny. I really enjoy listening to your podcasts when I go for a walk or doing chores around the house or winding down to go to sleep. Your videos are great laundry-folding companions. Thanks for the fun company!
